Yea, I agree that the Mayans were amazing at how they could predict the future, but these were people who didn't know where the sun went at night and would sacrafice villagers to bring it back. besides, maybe a bunch of Mayans just said "Ok, that's enough of predicting the future, lets just stop here." |

Also the fact that these people practised brutal sacrificial rituals and medical treatments, makes me (personally) see them as unreliable. Im not going anywhere specific with this, but I just back my disbelief in a world end with this information. Shrooms ftw, even the mayans knew it :D |

And 1 out of every 100 think someone is going to happen on this day. Well, guess what something will because, people will do really freaking dumb things. They could do things like this, start a massive computer virus that could do a lot of dmg, or a ton of people by guns and hit the streets. People will do this because they want to be like, "Hey I did something really awesome/coo/famous/etc on this date in history". If you get enough people to think that like, which isn't hard with media today, well then yeah something, I dont know what will happen on that date. |

Science has proven that. So if we all become extinct life will go on. And finally, Scientists predict that in 50 years if we don't abruptly stop the amount of greenhouse gases in the ozone the ice caps will melt. So, odds are these are the end of days regardless. |

DUH! how can nobody see what the truth of this is? Somebody finally releases the FPS where you play as cortes beating the hell out of the aztecs. Because it's so awesome, nobody does anything all day but play it. Hospitals, schools, supermarkets, everything is deserted. People even stop wanting to eat, knowing that maximising play time is their only goal left in life. Thus, everybody dies. Except that bitch who complained about mass effect on CNN.
