Shouldnt the escapist interview Ben Croshaw?
Zero Punctuation has become a highlight of my wednesdays.
I would love to learn more about him!
1. Is it hard to make a video before the week long dead line.
2. Is there ever a time where you really do not want to play the game that is assigned for your review?
3. ARE the games assigned? Or do you get to choose?

etc. etc. etc.

This thread is for you guys to post questions you want to ask the creator of Zero Punctuation.
Hopefully if this thread gets enough hits then perhaps the Escapist will eventualy get around to thinking about interviewingMr. Croshaw for us! :D

I saw an interview with him on a show called 'Not Quite Art'.

It was interesting, and insightful.

I'll try and find the episode.

EDIT:

Portkins:
Here you go

It seems that it got to Youtube. Impressive.

This would be nice. Find out what scarred him so early in life so that he hated almost all games.

Listen to the Australian Gamer podcast, Yahtzee turns up on that every second podcast these days.

Anyone here in Melbourne should turn up at the EGE tomorrow to see the Callapygian Superman himself.

Portkins:
Here you go

It's really strange to see him being "Yahtzee" in the real world.

"Old people will die first."

Um-hmm. Yes. Yes, indeed.

Portkins:
Here you go

He's pretty mild mannered in person it seems...

He's also really, really skinny and british looking.

he actually looks just like a friend of mine. Even wears the same hat.

Everything any reasonable person would ever want to know about Yahtzee is on Fully Ramblomatic. He's actually got quite an impressive assortment of stories and articles and what not.

Interesting, Yahtzee only linked to his interview a week or two ago, but I saw the show two months ago.

God one thing I want to know is how pissed off yahtzee is about his videos latly.
He cant use his own music anymore without fear of getting sued so he has to use a generic intro (no offence), his videos occasionaly have trailers of new games out after the end and his latest video is "sponsored" by banjo-kazooie.
I just wanna know what he thinks about the commercialization of his vids.

I think he is pretty fine about that. I mean, he seems to actually think the new intro sounds good (not implying it doesn't) and as for commersialisation. http://www.youtube.com/user/yahtzee19?ob=4

Great thread... Since a a few weeks i watched and listened to many things where Yathzee was involved.
That man is one character!
The podcast on the australian gamer is quiet enjoyable.
Interessting questions would be:
How long does It take to make a ZP-Video?
Do you have a day job?
Who chooses the games you review?
Has there already been an attempt to buy your opinion?

He was actually born in Britain (I think), but moved to Australia.

On topic, an interview with Yahtzee would be a good idea. I'd like to know where he comes up with all of his metaphors for his videos - some of them are bizarre to say the least.

i watched that interview, but it wasnt very good. I would want something moore escapist style.

yahtzee has a wikipedia page, why not check it out

i want to interview because im like his biggest fan because he does make his graphics well and also he hates preety much anything and i like that

Ohh is this guy still around?

Good for him =)

Here I am coming to a thread called 'An interview with the Yahtzee' expecting an actual interview and I get this?

Boo! Damn it, Boo!

You're not the only one. I wonder if he browses through the forums.

I'd really like to have a beer with that guy, after seeing that interview. He reminds me of the friend everyone has that's clueless around people so is overly sarcastic, but is such a good person you want to help 'em get laid when you're out in a bar despite their occasional dickness.

Well... true enough... but I was hoping for something more than 5 minutes. Pen and paper interview are usually a lot more ... informative... or contain a vaster amount of info than their video cousins.

carefull now fans, if you break through the 4th wall you may not like what you find behind it

Also true.

Fact: In 1307 on this very day Yahzee Shot an apple on his son's head with a single bolt from his crossbow.
