And thats me just getting started. I watched a lot of cartoons as a kid. Something not mentioned yet. Pro Stars!! Anyone who knows of the show etc wins an internet Edit: Oh god forgot Xmen, Fantastic 4, Iron Man, Hulk, Silver surfer, Spiderman and such, but some of these aren't as old as the others |

Understandable change in english version) It was however in english (I'm not), with subtitles, before I learned to read, so I didn't understand anything. Still thought it was freakin cool! Remember the songs like it was yesterday, even though it's been something like 20 years.. I wonder if it's on DVD yet.. *checks* Yup! Fraggle Rock still is the favorite show for kids, even though it isn't a cartoon, it deserves a honourable mention. |

Darkwing Duck, Talespin, Animaniacs, Batman, Beast Wars, etc. Krusty the Clown will never fail to remind me of Evil Jim and Megavolt. |

That is the Fox Kids one. |
Press Junketeer Posts: 355 Joined: 5 Mar 2008 | Animaniacs, The Snorks, TMNT, The Smurfs, Masters of the Universe, Darkwing Duck Cartoons now-a-days are just crap, I mean I realize they were all corny and cheesy when we were kids, but my god, they're just really bad now. I can't even force myself to watch the droll they put on the air, nor would I put my kids through it. |

Pulitzer Laureate Posts: 884 Joined: 19 Sep 2008 | Also Silver Surfer. The cartoon was fucking weird and almost psychedelic. The ending was also really depressing (everyone died). Very strange for a kids show. Pity he was such a douche in the Fantastic 4 movie. |

If you get that Boomerang channel, the one with all the older shows, it's usually on at like midnight or something =D I catch it every now and then, brings back such good memories... it could make a fairly good video game, too, if they did it right. |

I don't watch TV anymore. Any shows I want to see I watch online/torrent. Not entirely legal but I prefer watching on my monitor to my TV screen. |

Gone Gonzo Posts: 1119 Joined: 19 Jun 2008 | Anyone else remember C.O.P.S? with chief bulletproof, mutt etc, and villians like big boss and berserko? They had some sweet toys (cap guns and hidden weapons, woo). I've got a vague recollection about a cartoon from roughly 1985 called Alias the Jester. Oh, and to whomever mentioned He-Man... don't watch it today. I saw an episode on boomerang a couple of weeks ago, and I cringed for the entire show. Childhood memory = shattered. |

Hell yeah! Reboot was freaking awesome. Darkwing Duck is also one of the good ones. Though I will say the pinnacle of childrens entertainment lies squarely with Pinky and The Brain. Nothing beats that in my opinion. especially the episode where pinky takes over the world with a oyster petting zoo, and shiny pants. Animaniacs and Tiny Toons also get honorable mention in my list. |
