The banned anti-nazi cartoon by Disney. By watching it I actually got a small amount of respect for Disney, though that has disappeared now.
Captain Bucky o'Hare! And Darkwing Duck! Booyah!
Count Duckula = Classic
The 90s Sonic the Hedgehog cartoon
Ulyesses 31, Ancient Cities of Gold, Transformers (duh), Macross / Robotech, and of course The Snorks.
Pokemon & Tenchi I freakin loved Tenchi (fan boy moment)
Super Mario Super Show, duh! Man, I just love the chessiness of it all, and the timeless quotes... "I Chiseled it!" Ah, classic
Reboot! OK, so those aren't really old, but I can't really decipher the vague jumbles of memories involved with Merry Melodies cartoons.
Define old. | |
If by old you mean OLD, then tom &jerry. But if you mean old as in "back in your day", then TMNT. God I loved them.
i like the OLDER Transformer show, from the 1980s
Rocky and Bullwinkle and Freakazoid are the first that came to mind. Paul Dini's and Bruce Timm's Batman was pretty good too.
Define Old. I enjoyed the Animaniacs and Pinky and the Brain... past that Ren and Stimpy was god awesome!
Swat Cats, I don't know how old the cartoon is but it came on often when I was a kidling. I haven't seen it in 5 years now! The first Superman animation, it's alot better than the Justice League and every other remake. The first Spider Man animation was awesome too, had both the original venom and carnage in it and every other Marvel hero if I remember it right.
I loved Bugs Bunny and Road Runner.
I think cartoons today are better. Well, some are utter crap of course, but most of the old ones don't really do anything for me.
OP: How old is your definition of old?
Dexter's Lab, Ed Edd n Eddy, Courage the Cowardly Dog, and Tom and Jerry. Man, I miss those shows.
I Love to Singa. Edit: | |
I can't say which one is my favorite but this one ranks high on my list: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/9/90/G-Force_-_group_shot2.jpg I'm also assuming you mean cartoons we watched when we were children; otherwise there are plenty of old cartoons I still enjoy today.
Gargoyles, darn good cartoon.
Rugrats was my life as a kid. I also watched all the Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies shows, the first three seasons of Digimon(I want DVDs, dammit!), and since Yu Yu Hakusho is from the mid-ninety's, add that to the list. Tale Spin was pretty cool. Other than these, there were a lot of good shows that I watched on Nickelodeon before the went the path of the Disney Channel, but I don't remember a lot of them.
Alright, I'll be the first to say it. I loved the Thundercats and Voltron.
Gargoyles without a doubt. I remember watching the Ghostbusters cartoon too, but it didn't have a robot MacBeth shooting lasers.
Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors.
I couldn't agree more. | |
I was always a big Looney Toons fan. Dangermouse was good too.
Animaniacs, Johnny Bravo and Garfield. Am I the only person who thinks the TV show of Garfield is a lot funnier than the comics? I mean, the comics are kind of dull these days, but I still laugh at the show. Maybe the wacky nature of children's cartoons is just well-suited to Garfield... I suspect it adds some much-needed life to the cast or something. Actually, I never watched Animaniacs when I was young, but now I wish I had. It's amazing.
Hell yeah Swat Cats. Loved that as a kid.
OMG, this is easy. Eartworm Jim http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=gfXKm12rVQM best cartoon EVAR!
DOUG. Doug is the be-all, end-all of awesome shows. They BEATBOX in the intro. Doug ftw.
Pinky and the Brain :D used to watch it every morning before school :)
Omg Ren and Stimpy by far the BEST i used to love them... and STILL DO..
