Originally used the nom de plume Dingo, so I could harshly criticize others work and then tell them "A Dingo just ate your baby". This site, like man others, requires a 6 character username, so here we are.

jim_doki:
Jim = James
Doki = Japanese onimatapia for the sound of the beating heart. very much my personality

Its weird that, (not your name) but how different cultures have different onomatopoeia's for noise. Because we all hear in the same language, (that coulddoes sound incredibly weird, but Hey!), and I'm not saying I agree with any one nations onomatopoeia's, I would say it would be a good idea to keep them all the same.

And sign language although I am thoroughly misinformed on sign language anyway. But fair enough with words, bas they are normally derived from our ancestors/conquerors, but surly it would have been a good idea to unite sign language users under one language.

Mine is from a Norwegian comic called Eon. Hoppetussa means someone who jumps a lot.
I just liked how it sounded. It's a really funny comic.

Well my name Brodden was the name of my friends doggy who was crazy go nuts. We went out from my birthday and long and behold the dog dies. Heart attack, little mini doberman. So ever since, (6 years) I would name almost everything Brodden, unless I wasplaying a JRPG then the name had to be Crono for the male lead's name in honor of the best JRPG character fro mthe best jrpg game ever. RIP Brodden

I III II X4:
Mine's a shortened version of the name of an AC (Armored Core) that I often use. Quite simply, it's 24.

Awesome, I was trying to remember the name of that game. Thanks!

Mine is Latin for 'Live again', and has been used as an alternate term for 'Reneissance' in some smaller countries during their own cultural rebirths.

I chose it because I like the idea of bringing back old customs and ideas to our own culture that has gone overly PC and beurocratic.

There's a series of books called Remnants about a bunch of people who survive the apocalypse by being shot off into space aboard a ship called the Mayflower.

One of the main character's nicknames is Jobs, he's a techie and he took his name from "Steve Jobs" who in his words "Created a revolution in his garage."

I just thought it sounded cool, so I changed the 's' to a 'z' and here we are.

... Wow, flashback.

I remember planning to read that when Applegate announced it in the last Animorphs book, years ago. Never got around to it and eventually forgot. Gonna go buy. =D

Well, I was bored, hence that word, and I decided to add something else in there, as bored would be too plain. Tomato springs into my head, I misspell it "Tomatoe" and here we are now.

I've been beaten by combine every time I play Half-Life 2 and after a remark "You have been Combine'd" I just deleted the apostrophe.

My name is just that: a name. It really has no explanation. I thought it up a few years ago, and now I use it for everything.

The name suits my play style. I'm always the first one in at the head of the group.

Well, it was derived from my e-mail address "zhoom" which came from that noise that always used to make me laugh without ever understanding why in the BBC Robin Hood series' (on a side note, when the HELL will they release series 2 on dvd?).

I was having trouble finding a good XBL gamer tag that wasn't used yet, so I looked through a list of unused tags. I saw the tag "rotten milk" on the list, and since at the time, I used to say butter a lot (don't ask why) my mom said, "rotten butter," I tried it, it worked, and the name just stuck.

Wanted to use something that gave pleasure but not anything dirty...so just redid the spelling of ecstasy and came up with this.

Bioshock. 43 is my lucky numbers and all my friends said that I reminded them of a big daddy. The other names I used are Gunsnipe43, because I like guys and to snipe. MistaBubz which is basically just another version of Mr.Bubbles43 and then Bubblegun, which is a combination of the one ones. I've stared using that more and more as its unique and fun to think about.

Because Silver was taken.

Oh, wait. You're going to want to know more, right? Silver is what I'm called IRL, and it's going to be official when I get done with the paperwork. Silvertounge is from a song by Sonata Arctica, or really, their song The misery, that I confused with the first one. I really liked that song, and I really liked the title of the other one, so I tend to use it when Silver isn't avaviable. If both are unavaviable (has happened once or twice I think) I tend to just translate it it into Swedish, for Silvertunga. Cool I am or what?

I chose my name because the Undertakers original name was "Punisher Dice Morgan" and I didn't want it to be that long so I shortened it to Dice_Morgan :P

In my high school, I was on the soccer team. In one game, a buddy had a throw-in and it was headed to me. The son of a bitch behind me headbutted me, and got a concussion for his trouble. My friends made the "if you joined football you wouldn't need a helmet!" jokes and Helmet stuck.

Labyrinth used to just be a cool word I used as a screen name back in the Yesteryear of high scores on Arcade games, Commander Keen and the like, where I'd shorten it to LAB to fit that three letter box.

Since then, it's evolved to be the most accurate word I can think of to describe my sense of humou, among other things.

It has nothing to do with Pan, or David Bowie.

Well, Mr. Helmet, with all due respect you do have an extremely thick head. It was really funny watching that guy headbutt you...

As for mine, a few friends made a band when we were all in junior high. They were all scrawny wusses, and couldn't move their own instruments, amps, etc... and recruited my help. They started calling me their Roadie, and it stuck.
