Brave Dog Rescues Children.

I just found this and thought I would share.

It's just so sad, and so brave. What makes me so unhappy is that I have two Jack Russells, and they're so small and cute and noble! They would have done the same thing, and it makes me cringe to think about it.

Wow, thanks for sharing that.

That terrier deserves its on own forums.

Blank Verse:

Sarcasm? I just wanted people to know how damn brave the dog was.

I think that was actually sincere.

Well maybe if those kids were better fighters and could manage themselves this wouldn't have happened. Humans didn't become superior to all other animals by having dogs protect us from them. We did it by creating weapons. That's why here in America our kids have guns, so they can uphold humanity's superiority over dogs. And to kill their schoolmates. But mostly the first thing.

Well this is mainly to honour the dog. 21 gun salute I say! All Escapists.... Rise, salute and sing!

No, I wasn't being sarcastic. I'm genuinely thankful you shared that.

Edit: taht =/= that.

I feel sad now :(
Pitbulls are stupidly strong, why don't people just train them or get rid of them. I know we love our pets but these dogs are dangerous if they're not trained properly, and it's been proved time and time again.

Well thanks. I was hoping that you weren't being sarcastic.

Wow, what a brave little dog. Ever see this happen amongst people? No, because 90% of us don't have the stones to do this sort of instinctive good.

I feel bad for having a pitbull now. Damn pitbull, I would kick it if I didn't love it so much. But seriously, if they were taken because of unprovoked attacks, wouldn't you think that they should be watched carefully.
On another note, why did the article keep saying "destroyed" rather than put down, or some other term. Seriously, why?

I noticed that too, I think that they just wanted to make us understand that the creatures had been 'EXTERMINATED!'.

Quite the opposite. The majority of dogs I've read about, seen or owned have had more humanity than the humans I've known or known of.

While I don't like admitting that, it's still heart-warming to see that kind of devotion.

For some reason all I can think of is the dog in Fable 2!

Haha the owner was called Allan Gay.
I do feel for that poor dog though, silly owners and their outrageously vicious pets.

Are you completely heartless? Here we are, honouring the noble dog, and you're laughing at an immature joke! What's wrong with you? Are you joking? Please tell me you're joking? Sorry if that sounded too harsh.

Article:
Gay told The Associated Press.
"If it wasn't for George, those kids would have copped it."

My favourite bits.

I did think that it was a rather informal way of addressing the issue.
