The two mounted gun turrets are actually Ion Turrets, although they actually use the same energy from the main cannon, it is simply routed to the turrets. The ship can't fire both the turrets and the main cannon as a result, but it does make her more versatile. :) I'll be adding some Kinetic gun turrets as soon as I come up with a good design for them. I was thinking of making her something in between the Destroyer and Frigate class. Like a Light Cruiser or something. The large structure on the sides of the front of the ship house a total of 4 Torpedo launchers. Of course the back nacelles are the engines. EDIT: Not sure how many polys it is, It's around 3000+ that much I know. This thing will get some detailing. |

I was never too fond of having the bridge atop of the ship from a practical point of view, they still look cool though. Nice design. |

The rest of the ship is very simple and streamlined, but the turret seems a bit of. I don't know why, and I probably am in no position to judge. Overall, its good. Simple, but original. |

Maya. :o More delicious renders. I opted to change the 2 main cannons to dual kinetics. I also mounted 2 small flak cannons on top of the engine pods. The two sidepod like structures at the front of the vessel houses a total of 6 Plasma Bomb launchers to add that extra punch. Armaments: The ship was designed to offer superior firepower in a smaller package. She is a Destroyer Class hull. The Ion Cannon is about the same firepower as a single Ion Cannon turret that is found on the Hiigaran Battlecruiser. The Destroyer is designed with immense forward firepower. Anything caught in front of this ship won't last long. When firing all forward weapons she puts out much more firepower then the Hiigaran Destroyer. The vessel's Flak cannons cover the side and rear vectors of the vessel, although the front is still left vulnerable. This is alleviated by implementing more of these destroyers into the same attack group.
Also, I've added 2 Plasma Bomb Launchers since these renders. Basically they are located on the lower part of the Bomb Launcher pods, looks nicer. |

YARRR!
Enjoy.
Yes it's a Work In Progress. Not sure how this forum deals with showcasing a 3D Mesh but yeah. I'm not a professional modeler by any means, I'm just learning as I go along.
EDIT: Fixed image tags. It has since been modified slightly, looks way cool. Gonna do another render while I sleep. Occlusion renders take a half hour to render. :S
