Always man, my Favorite word.
In (almost) every sentance.
Every day, in fact I'm saying it right now! lol
Not often. Most of the time it just sounds vulgar and stupid.
Only when I'm really, really, really angry.
I prefer shit. Because if you say "fuck" in an attempt to insult someone you're just going to sound retarded and lose whatever you're arguing about
I rarely use it, so when I do it comes across as more powerful. I feel that when it gets overused it loses its meaning (I'm not talking about the literal meaning)
Ah the F Bomb second only to the C bomb in words i love to bring up inappropriately. the secret to swearing, like comedy, is timing. Fuck is going to lose it's impact if you use it casually (which probably wouldnt be that bad)
Only as a modifier. | |
by the F word do you mean fuck? believe it or not you can use a word when your talking about it or you just confuse quite a lot of people. I don't find it offensive in any way. I find it annoying when people use it as every other sentence but it doesn't offend me, but then I don't find the word cunt offensive not many people in the UK do any more. I've used it in lessons before with out so much as raising an eyebrow. it's just a word after all.
I prefer "Damn". | |
Never. But that's just thanks to me being fucking evil and not having any fucking Friends to talk to or about. ....Wait, you did mean "friend", right? You do know that you can write out the word you mean without being banned from the internet? Bah, of course you do. There's me being fucking silly again.
English swearing sucks. I'm proud to be polish when it comes to cursing. For example we have 2 words like "fuck" both equally strong.
'Damn', 'C**p' and 'S***' personally...
The F word has lost too much of its impact thanks to abuse through popular culture. I've progressed to the C word, which still retains its punch and fulfills all the grammatical roles the F word has in the past. Cocksnarking cocksnarks!
Zomg I ment the F word is in Fag. No seriously I try not to cuss as much as a can mostly because I agree with you the if you never use it when you use it it gives more power.
I hardly ever swear. That way when I do it will actually have an impact. If you use it in normal speech it just makes you look stupid - and often degrades your own arguments.
The L Word? What? Anyway, it has its places, but it is way overused these days.
really depends on the context really, in certain situations swearing isn't the brightest idea
Fuck. | |
I swear the whole time except when talking to adults. I have a speach impediment and i find that swearing actually helps me to talk properly.
More often than Sometimes, but much less than always.
It's funny you said fag there like it wasn't as offensive as fuck. But I think I'm with the general consensus when I say that Homophobic, racist and sexist comments are worse than words that are simply considered vulgar.
Never, mainly because there are many more effective words that can be used instead.
Frequently. I don't care about losing impact through repetition; I'll just find a new word if that happens. Incidentally, what does someone with Tourettes yell if they don't know swear words...
Something else. | |
If by F-word, you mean fuck, I say it all the time. If you meant fag, I never say it (Unless I'm quoting someone like Fred Phelps).
It's a crutch for a poor vocabulary.
Like all words that are conventionally taboo, it can be used in conversation when you're looking for shock value. But that should make you wonder--why am I trying to be shocking? Would you say it if it didn't offend anyone?
Meh, nothing wrong with swearing. Only reason it's considered a "bad" word is because people make it a bad word. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uBC3hM1CLEA Oh yeah, I also agree with Penn & Teller on this matter.
Yeah I just told any teachers who said that "What a load of Bovine Scat, sir. I disagree."
I edit my language for this site. I would most likely in real life respond, "fuck I don't know, probably a bit". I know when it's appropriate and when it isn't so that also affects my usage of fuck. though I could be standing next Jesus Christ himself, if there is ever a chance to say this I MUST say F^ckity. I love that word.
Oh and if you go around telling others that they can't swear then you are directly opposing the 1st amendment. Period.
I never really use the F word in anything unless it would be my characters reaction in a rp. Or if i'm aggrivated, really aggrivated.

The F word. I mean There are a lot of different views on this word. Some people believe it should be spoken more often and more freely and others believe it should never be spoken at all But if you look in the Dictionary,I pretty sure I'm right,The F word is the most versatile word in the English language now I am trying to find out in this moderen age if its exeptable to you or if it annoys your ears to hear one of your friends say the F word.Personally I think its okay as long as you don't use it every five seconds like one of my friends. So what are your views on the F word? should it be never said or said more often and exeptable or should it be okay as long as you don't say to be cool.
