As a spin off topic from the emotion "pain" of the other topic. We have this.

Personally, while not painful, they definatly were my worse injuries (I'd say they're equal). Last Wednesday I got hit on the head with a hockey ball and had to have my head glued back togther, it was somewhat messy business, but I managed not to passout at all, which might have been a bad thing to be honest. Now I can't wash my hair for a week and I feel all icky :/

My other "worse injury" again a hockey one, was when a guy swung for the ball, missed it, carried on through, into my nose. My nose then desided to hang off my face slightly, which was sown back on later in A&E with 7 or 8 stiches. Amusing thing is footballers that claim hockey is a womans sport.

Wow there are like 4 of these threads...

Car crash. Broken femur.

Ok, once again...

I stubbed my toes on my right foot and broke my middle one. For want of a better expression, IT FUCKING HURT. Waves of nausea, pain waved over my body, I felt like I was going to be sick, it was horrible.

I feel once and smacked my head on a rock - no pain, just the world looked very green for about 10 minute.

I got run over also - no pain, just intense dizziness.

Have anything else to add? Any content? No? Well then.

My personal worst pain would have to be when I broke both of my wrists at the same time during a game of olympic-style handball.

I slit my head open on a windowsill, I was crouched down and moving under it because it was the only way to get past. I didn't realise until someone saw blood running down my head. Had to get my head glued back together with some stuff...

The other two were both by the same guy... and about emotional pain. I think physical pain is generally much more amusing.

Either way this thread is still just post count +1 and an attempt at badges for the OP.

Does anyone honestly care what another anonymous person says about injuring themselves?

You are so right about this. So your friendly, neighbourhood tomato (who is cuddly) is on hand to bring on the laughs...

Nut crunch!

BAD faceplant

Another nut crunch

My turn. Got hit by a car. Got three fingers of left hand sliced from a thing with blades, knocked my head on a marble floor and went for three days in total isolation from anything that can stir my brain, i sliced my right leg and now i have a 10cm scar starting under my knee, lost nails from nine of my ten fingers, broke both of my ankles and twisted both of my wrists. and from all that stuf the most painfull was when i lost the nails from a brick wall. And dont get me started on the cigarette burns

oh soooo much pain. i sustained a head injury and had amnesia. still cant remember much from before that. my head is now dented and i get horrible headachs. i also have gad joint pain and sometimes literally can not stand up. i think that the bad muscle spasums i get are the worst when they happen in my chest muscles, i thought i was having a heart attack the first time.

ouch, i can relate to the fingers, i have bad scaring on 5 in total, but ouch, that didn't all happen at once did it? still, at least you don't shit blood.

So I'm guessing you don't have any friends since everyone is anonymous until you know them.

Worst injuries that I know of had to be told to me. It was when I was young and me and my brother were jumping of the veranda down to the driveway for kicks and something happened and I went head first into a small brick fence effectively leaving a permanent dint in my skull. Mum was shopping at the time so when Mum got home she thought I had gotten oil on my shirt since it was black but it was from a large blood lose and also I had concussion.

Chipped my left wrist by falling off my roof and smaking it with a concrete wall.

Uhhh when in boarding school a jock branded a acorn at me and it hit me on the knee where a nerve was man my leg was fully pins and needles for like an hour afterwards

Hmm, car crash, got a concussion.
Shot in the leg.
Buckshot to the back.
Horse threw me once. One of the only time I got on one, too.
Three stab wounds.
Shall I continue?

I think the worst I've felt physically was from pneumonia with a fever of 106 f. Felt like whole body death. Unlike my sordid experiences with lacerations, blunt force trauma, whiplash/collision injuries and general injury, being that sick is not mitigated by any degree of shock or endrophin rush and continues at a longer 'peak'. Very unpleasant.

Hit by a van when I was crossing the street on my bicycle. Broke my left arm. Glad I didn't feel a thing. I probably would of lost my left arm if I didn't wear my parents B-day gift to me. A titanium Swatch watch which was about 2 inches long that kept my arm together and prevents the break from being a compound fracture.

I have a titanium plate in my left arm for the rest of my life and cannot build muscle there anymore. Lucky for me that I'm a skinny person in the first place.

I got my ring finger knocked off once when I was a little kid, but they managed to sew it back on just fine.

I was being a douche to my brother, and he pushed me into a coffee table. Both the coffee table and my right wrist were broken as a result. I was about...I dunno, ten years old at the time?

Got beat up a lot in primary school, and once they broke my right ankle.

Well there was the car accident where my arm was fractured, the time I twisted my ankle so badly the tendons were about to rip apart, the time I got hit in the head with a tether ball pole, the time when I got hit in the back off the head with an empty 40 of corona.

I'm pretty adept at avoiding injury. This summer I popped the ligament that connects the collar bone to the shoulder while doing a bad break-fall in Judo (I don't know anatomy, so that's the best I can do to describe it). It's the only time I've ever been to the hospital for an injury, AFAIK. Something might have happened when I was young, but no one's told me.

I cut my wrist while carving pumpkins.you should've seen the blood squirting everywhere!!!!
good times,good times....

Hit and run.

Both wrist shattered, fractured cheek and eye socket, cracked back of skull, broken nose.
Yay for morphine!

bone bruise on my left arm. fell out of a slide when I was like 8.

Chopped the tip of my middle finger off in a door when I was 6.
Got thrown off a couple of horses at various times in my life, but nothing majorly serious.
Scar running up my left arm from falling out of a tree and slicing up my arm on a nail sticking out of it as I fell.
Scar on my back from a shooting accident. Guy next to me at the range had his revolver blow apart in his hands as he was firing it and I caught a good chunk of the cylinder in my back.

I fell down an entire flight of stairs and landed on a cactus.

Was the cactus like, positioned specifically at the bottome of the stairs? IF so why?

Anyways: Frobable a dislocat shoulder from landing a snowboarding trick wrong, then I got hit in the head by a different snowboarder who did not see me, If I did not have helmet I would have died, instead just a concussion. It was pretty awesome...also never doing snowboard tricks ever again.

Partially tearing my ACL, didn't need surgery but still. Odd thing was i didn't feel pain till i tried to get up and couldn't walk.

Slamming my shin into my bike pedal can creating a 3 inch long 1 inch gash.

I think I win with physical injuries.
1) had finger almost lobbed off with an axe while camping. sowing it back on without painkillers fu©king hurts

2) complete rip of my cross-lateral groin muscle. Couldn't walk for months or even move my legs. 6 years later it still gets painfull if your not carefull about stretching before doing anything physical

3) This one happend 2 weeks ago, I ripped the latteral miniscous on my left knee, been limping like a cripple ever since.

I only way your beating this is if you decided to go base jumping without a parachute, or played dogeball on teh highway.

Yeah, it actually was. The stairs led to my backyard, and there was a cactus about a foot and a half from the end of them. The cactus was good sized, too. Lots of long needles. I was in Argentina at the time.

Oh, I see...I was picturing a normal house with a staircase that just randomly ended in a huge cactus. Your clarification made more sense...

I got dump tackled in rugby once and broke my collarbone it wasn't actually that painful but about a week later whilst in a sling I re broke it on a bus closest I have ever came to crying in a while.

I had a car roll over my left foot once. Then I proceeded to walk a mile home. Hooray for high pain tolerance.

i was listening to the billy joel classic captin jack and nearly choked to death on a fish stick
