They are hideous... http://www.alaska.net/~jnoble/sailaway/sales%20pics/chippurple.jpg I have the purple one. ^_^ |

Paperboy Posts: 14 Joined: 28 Aug 2008 | Every toy from the 80's has been recycled, except one. We've had Transformers, GI Joe, Cabbage Patch Kids, Masters of the Universe, Star Wars, Pound Puppies, Care Bears, and Strawberry Shortcake. The only one missing is M.A.S.K. I miss those...little bitty guys with vehicles that turned into other vehicles, like an IROC Z Camaro with DeLorean doors that turned into a plane. Ah, memories... |

Panels & Girder for those who couldn't afford Erector sets. Electronic Dungeon's and Dragon's by MB. Teddy Ruxpin? Shogun Warriors? Snoopy Sno-Cone Machine. Stretch Armstrong followed by Suckerman. Dinkie's dicast Space 1999 ships...Eagle 1 I found this page which was kinda fun to peruse: http://www.timewarptoys.com/gallery.htm |

Costco for a short while sold non-nerf nerfish bazookas, which fired this mortar-like rocket so gods damned hard that it could shatter windows. They were pulled because one of them broke a little girl's ribs (something like 5 broken ribs from one shot), which just proves how kickass they were. |

OHHHH....I just wet my pants....I had this Starbird as young boy, and it was one of my Favorite. There was a second released later, the Space Avenger/Intruder (1979) which was black.

This is funny because I had a dream about Mighty Max recently, where I was in one of those things. It was creepy, yet epic. Also, I would like to add POGS to this list. And, on that same note, SLAMMERS, which were way cooler, though both wre necessary. |

My friend told us the story of how she got a Puppy Surprise (Plush toy dog with Velcro hole in stomach that holds little puppies) for Christmas and her grandmother thought it was cute until my friend ripped open the mother dogs stomach, jammed her hand in the opening and flung out the little toy puppies. |

Oh man I did so much damage to myself as a kid by playing "superhero" and launching from trampoline to pool |

I wish they still sold those gundam model kits in retail stores, those things were fun to build. |
Gone Gonzo Posts: 3664 Joined: 21 Jan 2008 | Didn't play with many toys in my day and age... I had a few Bionicals and the such, but I primarily used Blu-tac to model. It was weird; instead of the regular play-dough, I used the regular ol' Blu-tac, which I found was a lot stickier than its entertainment-purposed counterpart. |

LMAO! "...and a list of Hollywood actresses who need a shmack in their shmart mouths..." There was this one sweet toy I had, I can't remember exactly what it was called, but it was this starfighter type thing that had a handle like a gun on it and it would light up when you shot it. It came with a video tape that had a kind of anime style cartoon where it was like you were flying around in the fighter battling enemy ships. It told you to shoot at these flashing, seizure-inducing lights to make it seem like you were actually shooting the other ships down. Anybody else ever have that? |
