Gone Gonzo Posts: 3617 Joined: 7 Aug 2008 | I dunno, I like The Killers and Panic! At the Disco. |
On the Record Posts: 5391 Joined: 14 Jun 2008 | Well, of the all star cast of bands you've chosen... If forced to answer, I'd have to say yellowcard |
Gone Gonzo Posts: 3086 Joined: 13 Jul 2008 | For a start, I believe "Panic at the Disco" have indeed removed the punctuation mark from their name. |
Muckraker Posts: 328 Joined: 4 Dec 2008 | Yeah, the killers are okay too, and I did notice a lot of REALLY wierd similarities between their lead singer and Panic!'s Name: Brandon Flowers Name: Brendon Urie EDIT: The "emo" thing was not meant to be serious, a jest at people who call those bands "emo", even though none of them are emo. |
On the Record Posts: 5491 Joined: 13 Aug 2008 | Well, I hate the whole genre, but my particular hatred falls on Fall Out Boy, with their song titled "Thnks fr th mmrs". Seriously, that was the actual title. I now hate them not only as a band, but as people as well. |
Muckraker Posts: 328 Joined: 4 Dec 2008 | Personally I am a big fan of all the bands, I just seem to find Panic as my current preference. I'm sure in two weeks I'll be all over them and OBSESSED with The Academy Is or Billy Talent. |
Muckraker Posts: 328 Joined: 4 Dec 2008 | AND in retrospect I should have not given people an option like that because obviously nobody else sees the irony in the fact that the only place any of those bands is called emo is on the Youtube text comments.... |

Actually dude, we Escapists are from all over the world. EDIT: And don't multi post. Use the edit button. |
Muckraker Posts: 328 Joined: 4 Dec 2008 | Well I know that, I wasn't meaning to have that comment as a serious discussion, more of a quick joke along with a statement that showed I wasn't intolerant of any opinion that conflicted with my own |

I'm just pointing it out. And you should learn to use the quote button as well. |
Pulitzer Laureate Posts: 800 Joined: 25 Nov 2008 | I picked the last choice and I agree with xitel that Panic is especially bad. |
Muckraker Posts: 328 Joined: 4 Dec 2008 |
[insert snappy comeback here] |
Muckraker Posts: 328 Joined: 4 Dec 2008 |
He said FOB was especially bad P.S. Nobody thinks that video game logos for avatars are clever anymore. |
On the Record Posts: 5491 Joined: 13 Aug 2008 |
Oh I'm not saying that the music is bad, that would inevitably be a biased opinion on my part since I hate the genre. I refuse to listen to them as a matter of principle now. I will say that Coheed & Cambria is pretty good.
Noone really cares about avatars specifically. Also, like I said before, learn to use the edit button. It is your friend. |
Muckraker Posts: 328 Joined: 4 Dec 2008 | so...xitel is now the OfficiallyHaphazard of The Escapist at 1100 Posts! Congrats! |

Yea, I typed the wrong band name in by accident. P.S. I don't care what you think and I wasn't trying to be clever with my avatar. |
Gone Gonzo Posts: 2599 Joined: 6 Jun 2008 | Cookie cutter crap can stay off of my computer, so none of the above. |

What about the radio? |
Muckraker Posts: 328 Joined: 4 Dec 2008 | Apparently, a lot of Escapists like metal. |
Gone Gonzo Posts: 2599 Joined: 6 Jun 2008 |

You want good music? Not cookie cutter crap? Easily the best song ever made |
Gone Gonzo Posts: 2893 Joined: 6 Mar 2008 | I hate all those bands. Just a big ol' list of fail, right there, imo. EDIT: Actually, I've never even heard of Christmas Child. But if they're like the others, then I'm sure I hate them too. 2nd EDIT: Oh wait, is Christmas Child even a band, or just the OP's name? |
Pulitzer Laureate Posts: 800 Joined: 25 Nov 2008 | I think it's funny he changed the last poll choice so we can't pick that they all suck anymore. |
On the Record Posts: 5491 Joined: 13 Aug 2008 |
And completely dropped Fall Out Boy. |
Gone Gonzo Posts: 2599 Joined: 6 Jun 2008 |
Okay, that is a win. I want that on my iTunes now... |
Muckraker Posts: 328 Joined: 4 Dec 2008 | Hmm I wonder If I could get around 23 More replies.... |

Probably just his name. He was getting upset about people picking the "They all suck" choice. |
Beat Writer Posts: 219 Joined: 25 Mar 2008 | Killers anyday I'm going to see them live on their next tour |
On the Record Posts: 5491 Joined: 13 Aug 2008 | Wait now its changed to Weezer? This is getting confusing. You should just add the options instead of deleting old ones. |
Pulitzer Laureate Posts: 832 Joined: 3 Jun 2008 | I used to like Panic! At the disco when they made rock music, but nowadays. I dont like them. That being said, my favorite band out of that choice is The Killers. |
Pulitzer Laureate Posts: 800 Joined: 25 Nov 2008 |
All he did was delete his name from the poll choice. |
Gone Gonzo Posts: 2967 Joined: 21 May 2008 | I like the Killers. Something sounds good in their sound. |
