Then after wandering over the forums and reading the articles on the home page I nearly passed out at the unexpected intelligence. (Like Game FAQs, i foolishly made an account there and was permanently banned as soon as i clicked the activation link. no explanation given.) |

Not as bad as the forums which shall not be named- for fear of conjuring the denizens of that dark land- but Gamespot forums are pretty terrible. So bad they actually chased me TO /v/. Though I guess that was good since they fed my burgeoning shmup addiction. |

Primarily because 97% of the people on the forums were retarded. Sure. There are some people on the escapist who are, wrong, quite a large proportion of the time but it seems a rather easier place to go. Plus, i don't have to tolerate people with the IQ of a spoon. |
