Greetings all you hollowed beings. I Sir Rainienstien 3rd will depart my burnt hairy shores as of tomorrow heading off to Vancouver Canada. With me, I shall take the Journal of a madman catalouging my adventures and daring escapes from the fuzz.

So to keep this forum and community related and somewhat more fun for you guys, I want you (don't hide behind that screen) to throw at me, Missions, Dares and other Stuff for me to try and achieve while I'm over there. I have two months, little cash, and don't exactly wanted to be booted outside the country, so I won't do anything too insane. Also, I won't exactly be going on any real road trips across the country so seeing sites may be out of it.

Other than that, I will be providing updates, entries and pixs so you know it really happend.

-The Purps.

Fixed and done.

Yeah, I can see the overactive imagination of the Escapist at work, and me willing to do anything not meshing too well.

I was going to suggest something involving saliva or the like, but I cannot think of any way that would not be deemed insane.

I dare you to use "eh?" at the end of every sentence you say (or every tenth one, whatever works for you).

I like this one. Lets see how long it takes for you to get punched by doing this. I did when I went to Canada, luckily, I was about 12 (if I remember correctly), so people just growled at me to stop.

He would be hard-pressed to find one. Here we just call them 'Police', and they look alot alike American ones too.

Done and done. Also Archy, I've heard through the grapevine (I wonder if I can call Larenxis that?) that you do have those mounted red-coated guys. I will get a picture of me hugging one.

Hmm, I guess I could cut you up pretty good. Just don't know how customes would view me carrying a suitcase full of ex-Radelaide around.

Get yourself a Bicycle and head out to Mt. Fromme, see if you can persuade a local to show around the south slope, you may regret it but you won't forget it...

Also, play the piss of a Canadian game. Pick one person every day the attempt to wind them up, be they shop staff, a copper or even some guy in the street. It's way, way harder than it sounds. It's even harder the further you get from the centre of Vancouver.

Walk into any bar and shout "Kokanee Stinks!" as louds as you can. Then run.

All the sterotypical Canadians I can think of only do that at the end of questions. Also, If you have to say "Z" say "zed" instead.

Do you need to say "Zed" because that's how the French pronounce it?

Is Easykill a Vancouverite? I'm meeting up with Archy while I'm there, but the whole point of this travel is so I can meet up with Larenxis in the first place. Geeze, some stalker you guys make. You're supposed to know this info!

I'm insulting the Canucks while I'm there. That should do it I think. But be sure, once I wake up from hospital, I'll insult Kokanee too.

No, I just mentioned it because I think its a Canadian military thing. Mckay does it on Stargate Atlantis, so I figured it would work for this too.

Right. Here's what you need to do.

Get a motorcycle, first of all, painted black with flames. Then, while wearing your '30s mobster outfit (from the "Pics" thread, I'm assuming you still have it) drive the motorcycle off one of those modern drawbridges while it's being pulled up to let a ship through. And the bridge has to be on fire, and you have to be filming it. Then post that shit right up here.

I have no idea what that has to do with Canada or Vancouver, or if it is even physically possible, but damn if it wouldn't be cool.

Somewhere in Canada, Larenxis felt as if a million voices cried out at once and were suddenly silenced.

I dare you to mime on the streets on Vancouver.

Actually, my fellow Stargater (that sounded corny), "zed" is just how we (Canadians) say it, although the American "zee" seems to be creeping into our vocabulary the same way "feet" and "yards" did (you silly Americans and your silly measurements.)

And for the record, ZedPM sounds better than ZeePM.

I'm not sure if I will be able to do that, but I think that's a mission right there!

Miles? What's with that?
No offence to this argument, but in Australia we seem to say Zed, and sometimes Zee if we're game. So I might not see the benifit for flouting around my Zee's and Zed. Anyway, Zed's dead baby. Zed's dead.

A bit far. As far as I see, I'm only staying around the city, maybe venturing outside the limits every so often.

Try Airsoft, at least once. I'm not sure if you'll be able to afford it, but it's worth a go.

Oh, and get a plushy Moose on a wire which you can walk around.

I'm leaving tomorrow, arriving Tuesday (which is the same day?! Time travel people!). I'll be leaving Canada the 26th of Jan. I think as it ducks off from peak season, all flight costs go down dramaticlly.

Maple syrup on everything? I don't know, maybe I'll eat it with something obsucre just for you. Maple syrup hotdogs.

Airsoft is basically paintball, but instead of guns which shoot paintballs, they shoot little plastic pellets that sting really bad when they hit you. It's more fun then I'm making it sound. btw, since when is that just a Canadian thing? I live in New Jersey and play it quite a bit.

The distance between vancouver and niagra falls is about equal to going from one end of europe to the other.

My dare: Dress in liederhousen, put on a Germanic/Scandinavian accent & insist on telling every Canadian you meet that you sympathize because as a Danish person, no one knows where your country is either.
