To the Escapists!
This might be a bit weird but hey,
Recently I have been admitted into hospital and have sadly just heard that I must stay in over Christmas. The only thing to keep me from dieing of boredom being this little USB modem which has given me a somewhat limited access to the Internet, being far to slow to load videos and having a tendency to lose all signal at really rather random times.
One site that I have been lucky enough to be able to use without fail with it though is (you guessed it!) The Escapist which is down right lovely.
As I mentioned this USB modem has kept me from eating my own face out of boredom and I have the witty and insightful comments from you the members of the escapist to thank!
So I started to think... how on earth can I show my appreciation for you lot keeping me laughing and steering me away from boredom?
Then... out of nowhere... I had a weird idea....
As a boxing coach I don't really have much spare time but in what little I get I record and compose music and I have noticed how somethings in this world can infuriate a lot of you. So, I decided to make a track of some chilled out music in my time out of hospital during the weekend (recorded by myself) and available for download for all of you (for free and only if you want it of course) from the link - http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/146998 (I know newgrounds is a bit pants but its rather spiffy for uploading audio) - I think I owe it to you all for keeping me so well entertained in this rather grubby hospital over the Christmas month.
I know the track is not insanely good but it was the best I could do within the short time. It gets better as it goes on haha!
So in closing I hope you enjoy this gift from me as I have enjoyed being a member here at the Escapist.
