Couldn't care less. It's couldn't care less, unless you actually care somewhat. Anyway, yes, I will, because; A: It's Wolverine, and he's awesome; and B: Gambit. Oh, and Deadpool's gonna' be in it? Even more awesome. |

You took that out of context a little but I worded it a little oddly, I meant for the character wolverine on their portrayal of him. But, I expect the movie to be good and I think they have a good cast of heroes in this film. BTW, I added the comics/sci-fi portion just for you <3 |

Gotta say I'm interested to see how the new Sabretooth pans out. The guy from the first X men film was awesome, so ideally they should have got him. |
Beat Writer Posts: 126 Joined: 6 Aug 2008 | I thought so too, on the sabretooth and Xmen 3 last stand. It just seems like they wanted to kill everyone off. And on the first X-men movie am I the only one who was like 'WTF' when they kept blasting everybody off the roof and watching them fly for 20 seconds ? But they made a better actor play sabretooth IMO. |

Plus I think Ryan Reynolds will do an awesome Job as him, and I think the guy has come far from Two Guys and a Girl, which is a great sitcom. BTW I put a poll on my thread at first, but My net cut off and I lost it, then i forgot to put it on the second time. Is there any way to put a poll onto an already existing thread of mine? |
Beat Writer Posts: 126 Joined: 6 Aug 2008 | I agree completely, I think all his maneurisms as well as personality will match. The only part I'm curious about is his voice. But that's only because his voice in MUA threw me off a bit. |
Gone Gonzo Posts: 1557 Joined: 31 Dec 2007 | I won't. Because X-men has been dragged out onto a curb and beaten to death. |
Infamous Scribbler Posts: 645 Joined: 27 Mar 2008 | Deadpool, of course. Just like everyone else? Yes. That's right. And I'm unashamed. |
Infamous Scribbler Posts: 606 Joined: 26 Sep 2008 | I'm pretty on the fence about this one. I was hoping to see more of the X-Men mythos brought to the big screen, or even some original adventures. As Wolverine is pointlessly overdone in every facet, aspect, and corner of the Marvel Universe (comics), a Wolverine-centric film is not high on my list. Now, Magneto, on the other hand, is a little more desireable, but he's still pretty overdone too. But not as much as Wolverine (who is a member of every Marvel superhero organization). There was even an in-story reference once, when Cyclops started three teams, listing Wolverine as a member of each one. Wolverine said something like "I appreciate your faith in me bub, but I can't be on *all of 'em." I think it is a waste to give one character from a team their own movie after the team has been introduced. I like what Marvel is doing with the Avengers better (giving all of the heroes with their own titles intro/lead-up movies). Still, I wouldn't want to see like four or five more Iron Man/Captain America/Hulk movies once Avengers comes out. |

Ah, okay. Sorry 'bout that. I'm a little out of it. Woke up yesterday (Saturday) at 7:00 AM, and have yet to sleep since. Hence my own awkward wording. |
Beat Writer Posts: 126 Joined: 6 Aug 2008 | It's cool lol, we all have some of those days. But I agree that the Xmen series has been dragged out relentlessly but, it can't hurt to still see some good Superhero action. Also, in the trailer you can see deadpool but without his mask on >.> But anyway, I cannot wait for this and Magneto to come out. |
Paperboy Posts: 15 Joined: 21 Nov 2007 | While I'm going to say Deadpool, he's also the part about this movie I'm the most worried about. Where is his mask, and why is he not horribly scared? I'm going to be optimistic and assume that it's him before he is artificially mutated. If it happens to be the director/writer's "take" on Deadpool, the theater I'm watching it in can expect to hear a loud "WHAT THE #&%@!!!" |
Gone Gonzo Posts: 2583 Joined: 27 Sep 2008 | Well mostly because I liked the X-Men films. I'm also quite fond of Hugh Jackman. The addition of Gambit did make me that little bit more excited about the whole thing though. He was always my favourite. |
Honorable Mention: Escapist Film Festival Posts: 342 Joined: 11 Nov 2008 | I'm more looking forward to X Men Origins: Magneto in which Magneto is in a nazi concentration camp trying to survive when Xavier comes through Germany as part of the American camp liberation force and frees him. Then, after Magneto decides to hunt down his nazi oppressors, Xavier thinks that its not a good idea and they become enemies because of it. Oh yeah, and Ian McKellan will be playing magneto again. Even in the concentration camp. His wrinkly old man face will be covered in CGI to make him look 21. This might be a little off toping but seriously...wtf? Weeeeiiiirrrrdddd. |

Paperboy Posts: 18 Joined: 17 Oct 2008 | If you are a fan of Deadpool, you may not want to see this movie. |
Pulitzer Laureate Posts: 846 Joined: 5 Aug 2008 | I've always loved the Wolverine character, and there are some things about this that irk me, but I'll probably see it. My only question is, does it have the same director as X-Men 3? That would be a deal breaker for me. |
Press Junketeer Posts: 354 Joined: 25 Feb 2008 | I hate polls that make you choose between 3 awesome things...I just choose gambit but tbh I just want to see it cause it's xmen. It's also rather amusing people in some responses to videos saying that wolverine didn't have claws as a kid. |

Yeah, he always had the claws. In the old comics he thought they were implants and not his own bones, but that was also before he got his entire memory back. I still have the comic of when he extended his bone claws in the danger room without his healing factor, awesome scene. |

maybe because Wolvie is one of the most popular characters in the Marvel Universe? why would they make a movie on Jubilee or Havock? probly not cause they aren't as popular as other chars such as Wolverine is |

But sure as hell I keep going back and watching the next. |

Yes, I know there are two X-men origins coming out. But, I'm talking about X-Men Origins: Wolverine. I personally could care less because I think they portryed wolverine poorly. Yes, he looks like him but he had like foot long to like 3 foot long claws. Still not my favorite. As you can tell by my Avatar, I am going to go see it so, I can go see deadpool as portrayed by Ryan reynolds. But, it seems they wanted to put all the kick ass characters in it. Because, as well as Wolverine and Deadpool, Gambit is in it as well. That's got me excited as hell. So post, who are you going to see it for and why ?
