Yeah sure. |
Infamous Scribbler Posts: 575 Joined: 21 Jun 2008 | Santa's Slay, it's a slasher flick where Santa (played brilliantly by former wrestler Bill Goldberg) goes around despensing Holiday justice to the people being naughty. He even kills people with Candy Caines, it is awesome. Maybe I should start watching good movies, but when I can watch something this entertaining for half the price why bother eh? |
Pulitzer Laureate Posts: 845 Joined: 9 May 2008 | I'd say "A Christmas Story" is the worst. It reminds me of more of a child's nightmare than something I really want to see. Most Christmas movies are terrible. One of the few I've seen that is any good is called "The Nativity Story" and it came out in theaters last Christmas. It's an excellent show. |

*laughs* I can't tell if you're serious or what that has to do w/ Christmas. Worse I've ever seen?...probably the Little Drummer Boy. Wait, can that count as a movie? |

How dare you! that's the best Christmas movie ever! [/false anger] I've seen some doozies. All three were made fun of by the MST3K crew. 1. Santa Claus |

Seconded. One of the many times I wanted to maim Matthew Broderick for wasting my time. First Godzilla... then Christmas? Why!? |

Yeah, all 3 movies I posted were hilarious. Santa Claus was just pedo-creepy, SCCtM was just retarded sci-fi with christmas injected into it, and SWHS was just... yeah. Regardless, it still was another failed attempt to capture the holiday essence. That's why I loved "A Christmas Story" as it really captures one kid's experience from his eyes, and it makes adults laugh because everyone was like that at christmas as kids. |

Gone Gonzo Posts: 1741 Joined: 21 Aug 2008 | I have Santa Claus Conquers the Martians on DVD. We watch it every year as a family tradition. On topic, A Miser Brothers Christmas. It was some ABC Family spin-off of The Year Without a Santa Claus, starring the Miser Brothers. They're great characters, true enough, but in general, it's wise to leave the classics as they are. *coughliveactionGrinchcough* |

I second that notion, family channel movies are gawd awful aren't they. User was banned for: What would you do if banned?. (Permanent) |
Infamous Scribbler Posts: 518 Joined: 15 Dec 2007 | I don't like christmas movies that have come out within the past 10 years (probably earlier too but i don't watch too many of them). Too much of the storyline revolves around some stupid gimmick. |

Gone Gonzo Posts: 1879 Joined: 11 Jul 2008 | I'm gonna throw one of my favourites in as a counter to the 'worst' ones. 'The Ref' or 'Hostile Hostages', with Kevin Spacey and Denis Leary, its Xmas Eve and a burglar is doing one more job. Turns out he breaks into a full house, with the most dysfunctional family ever, constantly bitching, and he has to take them hostage to get thru the night, and it progresses, its not actively dark really, but it's certainly not saccharine soaked like the majority of xmas movies, and it's actually fairly funny in places. Don't get too put off by the first 4 mins where it looks like every other xmas movie ever. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0110955/ JOY! Appears its on youtube in full, enjoy! http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=8sPCJwluejU&feature=PlayList&p=3EB65153334A98BB&index=0&playnext=1 EDIT: Bah, and humbug, for some reason about 2 parts of the movie are 'no longer available' Who takes down 2 parts of a 10 part movie? Still, its worth seeing if you get the chance. |

Yeah MST3K's versions of Santa Claus conquers the martians was hilarious! I like their new website Rifftrax, but I wish they were still on TV too. |

I do too. I think is pretty shocking that the show lasted as long as it did. 10 seasons with 2 hour blocks? DAMN! I guess it's just one of those thing that managed to be made despite everything about it working against it. Hell, I'm watching Pee-Wee's Playhouse, and I don't know how that show got the green-light. I'm glad it did, but still.... |

I have to agree. This movie just grates my nerves for some reason. Also have to throw in Muppet Christmas and Scrooged. |

Gone Gonzo Posts: 1465 Joined: 18 Dec 2008 | OK, I got one now: Some stupid 11 year old girl finds a deer and if fully convinced that it's Santa's deer. For an hour and a half, this bitch's screechy voice doesn't shut up, which in turn, makes you want to kill yourself and everyone in the whole bloody movie. |

It's Christmas time and I've been watching some Christmas movies like Fred Claus and Christmas Vacation on TV and it got me thinking about some of the other X-mas movies that have come out in the past. There have been some terrible ones and there have been some pretty good ones and as the title suggests, what's the worst Christmas movie you have ever seen?
I believe this is easily one of the worst ones you'll ever see
