Just discovered whole episodes of Shooting Stars on Youtube.

Whilst watching, i wondered if anyone on the Escapist enjoyed it as much as i did?

Anyway...i also wondered who/what is your favourite Comdedy/Comedian?

Know what I love? People who when they see a new topic, tirelessly search to see if its been done before just so they can flaunt that information, even if those old topics are about 10 pages back in the archives and/or no one else seems to care at all...

Anyway...Mitch Hedberg is my favorite
Dane Cook has some good shit, Lewis Black can be hilarious at times and Jeff Dunham is the funniest puppet guy ever...

Is that what you love? Do you want to know what I love? Defending against taking a few seconds to search for a topic that seems like it has probably been discussed at one point or another. If I were to start a topic called "What's your favorite band?", That would just be plain stupid of me, don't you think? Also, he was very polite about it, and nobody hurled insults or anything.

And yeah, Mitch Hedberg is awesome, can't agree on Black or Dunham though.

I can't think of any ventriloquist comedian better than Dunham, because he's the only one I've ever heard of.

Didn't say he's nice to listen to, I mean he kills his jokes seconds after saying them. He does what Tim Buckley does, gives his jokes away right away and then starts beating them dead with a spiked club. It's just funny to see him mess everything up, lol.

Marcus Brigstocke is a god of comedy.

Best comedians I've seen live are Mark Thomas, and recently at my uni I saw Milton Jones (awesome gig, but the crowd didn't get it at all).

Always will be No 1. Dylan Moran - http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=ltJuw9yNtec&feature=related

2. Bill Bailey - Best surrealist/musical comedian ever.
3. Russell Howard - His stand up is actually quite personal and emotional but still completely hilarious.
4. Ross Noble - You have to appreciate the way this man's mind works. The best and most random improvisational comedian I have seen.
5. Jimmy Carr - I enjoy his dead pan face dry wit and sarcasm. Plus he handles hecklers very well.
