cartoons suck these days.
The old teenage mutant ninjas turtles made me freak out everytime the intro came on. You cant honestly tell me that the 12 - 16 crowd still runs around pretending they are there favorite cartoon character. Now they blankly watch these cartoons, then they turn off the T.V. and go blankly stare at there videogames.
I use to love cartoons, and old anime but recently its all so commercial and manufactured I can't pay attention for more then 2 minutes before I feel like in need to go out and grab some booze or wash the gimp :D

I don't get TV anymore but had I been watching when it was on...

Justice League Unlimited certainly would have fit the bill for me. What an awesome show. Also Batman: The Animated Series and Batman Beyond should totally go on that list. What... I like Batman.

Same as Pedro, Batman TAS and Batman Beyond. They made my Saturda mornings. Though the old Spiderman cartoon wasn't bad either.

I loved watching Pokemon, the first season. I think I was in 4th grade when it came to the U.S. And it was the only thing that got me up on a Saturday morning( if it wasn't on I slept until around 10 am).

Apparently, the world actually exists at 10:00 AM on Saturdays. It seems so alien to me.

Not a cartoon, but Power Rangers. You know, the original. With the giant mechanical dinosaurs.

I used to watch SM:TV live, they used to show Pokemon and some other stuff I can't remember.
That show was my childhood, which is probably why I'm so fond of Ant & Dec.

Batman Beyond was a great Saturday morning cartoon back when it aired in 1997-1998 or so. Pokemon replaced it in popularity, but there were also a bunch of other cartoons I liked. Back in those days, they had a line-up on ABC called One Saturday Morning, which aired a lot of things. Kids WB was always a popular one, and Fox Kids (before it was called Jetix or Fox Box, or whatever) had a lot of action shows. UPN Kids used to air Captain Simian and the Space Monkeys as well as Monkey Magic. They also had all the Marvel cartoons: Spiderman, X-Men, etc.
When I hit my teen years, I always ended up waking too late, so I began to fall out of the Saturday morning cartoon habit. It was awesome while it lasted though. Besides, I hear the Saturday morning cartoons these days aren't worth getting up for, anyway.

I am thankful that you got the pink panther theme out of my head but because of the tune that replaced it, you shall die.

Heh, the best saturday morning cartoon ever was definitely Captain Planet. Man...if that was still on I would still watch it.
