I'm actually looking for headphones which I can connect to my amp. Can you recommend some specific headphones? That would be nice.

I just use my normal HESH 'phones, with a jack adaptor

Me and my family all agreed on not buying christmas gifts this year and instead save our money for this summer when we're going to Gran Canaria for our vacation, only person who we bought gifts for was my nephew, but the rest of us are old enough to only want to spend a day together eating a good meal and just enjoy the weekend, watch some classics on tv and stuff like that.

Edit: Time zones are really weird, It's been christmas day for 20 hours now where I live, and all you Northies (That's the term I just made up fer all you fellows in the Northern Hemisphere) haven't even started it yet.

It doesn't matter that we're in the Northern Hemisphere, it's that we live East of the International Date Line. If we lived in Japan or Samoa or the Phillippinnes, it would be Christmas already.

Yes, but I wasn't adressing them, as they number somewhere in the low double digits.

Edit: I just checked, there are 6 people in Japan, no people in Samoa and 7 people in the Philippines.

How did you check that?

Nothin' too fancy to report here, but I'm content. I got clothes, a large jar of peanuts, a Wendy's gift card, and a cell-phone charger.

I gave people hugs. That's all I could afford.

I got some stuff for the kitchen (a small grater, some spices, a little food processor) and some gift certificates for the hardware store, my newspaper subscription, and for work clothes, but the big item was a cheque to cover my train ticket (first class!) and incidental expenses for a trip to Worldcon 2009 in Montreal this summer. Yay!

Nothing.

Not even socks, as I wear sandals (yes, even in Winter) and to wear socks with sandals is a definite fashion faux pas. This is because I don't celebrate Christmas as I am an Atheist. Well, there you are... you did ask.

Socks!

The real man's christmas present.

Uh... time zones don't work north to south. It's the same time in Buenos Aires as it is in Kingston. Time zone dividers (they have a name, but I don't know it) go from north to south.

Anyway, back on topic: I got a 400gb portable HD (way to go!), a Rever Pass shirt (which I was in desperate need of), some cash from my grandmother, which I used to buy myself a set of Celtic runes carved in wood, a completely amazing shirt, and to top things off, Sarah Brightman's A Winter Symphony (the CD + DVD), which is made of win.
