I don't want a tattoo that jumps in the eye.
If I'd ever get one it will be small and in a place most people won't get to see it every day.
I have enough personality of myself, I don't need tattoos for that.

Some tattoos are really cool, some are just downright disturbing.

Tattoos are cool when they're carefully picked. Its easy to get a tattoo that doesn't suit you. I have one, its small and got it done in Amsterdam which i'm told has some of the best tattooists around and it healed really quick.

Yeah, I have a celtic cross on each shoulder, and a the initials of a close friend and teacher who passed away recently below one of the crosses. Tattoos kick ass.

I don't really believe in permanence or there being anything in my life that will warrant permanently marking my body with it.

Whatever floats your boat though, almost all of my friends have them in strange places.

I'm weird... I like the look of tatoos but I don't like the idea of perminately marking myself in a way that makes me easier to identify. When I die or if I ever do something wrong I don't wanna be found that easily. I like the idea of dying and having them spend months, maybe even years trying to find out who I am and watching them from purgatory struggling to find out my identity. YUP I'm strange and disturbed lol!

when i will be getting a tattoo, i will be getting one that has a meaning and is descriptive. i don't like tattoos just for the sake of having permanent body paint. tattoos for me symbolize a story or a condition imposed on a person; much like the way that you in russian prisons had your entire story of your life tattoo'd on yourself.

i'm still working on the design for mine for when the time comes.

If well done and concientiously designed, yes, tattoos are good.

I have a problem with wussy, meaningles tattoos like the stars emo kids love getting on their wrists or their feet. Making any permanent mark on your body with so little thought to it's relevance is stupid, most of these people will wish they never had them done by the time they're 30.

Then again, that's just me being me. I already feel REALLY uncomfortable if someone even draws a tiny dot on my hand with a pen. I immediatly try to get it off as soon as I can.

They can be very cool. But I would never get one because
A I wouldn't trust anyone to do it, one simple mistake and your whole piece can be ruined,
B as I get older, so does the tattoo,
C I don't like the fact that it is permament,
D I probably couldn't decide on the design and position anyway (see C.)

got 2 planned, one for my back and one for my upperarm, but im short on cash and im about to start working out 5 times a week and a diet and stuff, so gonna wait until i've gotten a little better body.

I dont really think they are "cool", but they look good, and if they are something that mean alot to you as a person, then go for it, i know i will.

I think its not a great a idea to do this unless you're incredibly sure.
I've seen a good many people with triforce tattoos. I also saw a guy with an entire Nintendo-themed sleeve, but I can't recommend it highly.

Dude, that seems like complete over kill with the whole arm in Nintendo. and he probably plays Xbox (joking) Maybe not somehting that big but more like something small like the Half-Life lambda complex symbol that be neat.

Personally they're my #1 dating deal-breaker. I tend to agree with the Bible (Lev 19:28) when it comes to tattooing and body modification.

Tattoos are only cool if they have some meaning behind them and if the person with the tattoo knows the meaning.

It would be a wolf tattoo, but I'm not sure on the position. Maybe back shoulder, chest or upper arm.

Some people may see them as a little bit common but I love tribal tattoos. I've been meaning to get a tribal sleeve of my friends incredibly intricate design for a while now but I never seem to have the cash. I also think tattoos are bloody sexy on women as well (if they're the right kind of course).

They can be cool, they wouldn't look cool on me though...not that you would be able to see them through all the fur.

I think tattoos are awesome! Whenever I see somebody with one I try and get a good look at it (until they start giving me dirty looks, lol). I don't have any, but I've wanted to get some for a long time. And I'm definitely of the "human canvas" mentality - nothing is more fucking cool than sleeves. I hope to have them someday, but I'll start with a small one just to see what it's like (and if I can handle the pain).

I like temporary/airbrush/henna tattoos, but nothing permanent. Permanent ones creep me out. Besides, they'll look really weird when you get old. :P

Tattoo's shouldn't be a trend, its a work of art which represents and / or means something to YOU!

I hate all these people nowadays that are getting stars done on their wrists, its just a fucking trend :(

Design it yourself, find a decent tattoist who can actually draw rather than relying on a bloody stencil, make it your own tattoo, don't just pick something off the wall unless you want to base your idea on it, can you imagine being so proud of your new tattoo that you picked off the wall in the local shop, only to walk down the street and find someone else with the exact same tattoo.
