From early memories of TV I would think it was one of the old black and white films or a technicolor western.Darn those are good still.

Video it was the origional batman film, though I was watching a lot of comedy with my dad too, mainly red dwarf, bottom , monty python, the young ones and derick and clive.
At the cinema I would guess a kids film, maybe the Flintstones.

It was an animated one but obviously not the one that just came out. Something about a pizza monster? The live action movies are real good (well the first one anyway)

The first Movie I remember was seeing Disney's Sleepy Hollow. Still watch it occaisionally, that music was DAMN catchy

When the spooks have a midnight jamboree, they break it up with fiendish glee
ghosts are bad, but the one that's cursed is the Headless Horseman, he's the worst
When he goes a joggin' across the land, holdin' his noggin right in his hand
Demons take one look and groan, and they hit the road for parts unknown
And there's wrath like a spook that's spurned,
they don't like him and he's really burned,
He swears to the longest day he's dead, he'd show them he could get a head.

With a hip hip and a clippity clop,
He's out lookin' for a top to chop,
so don't stop to figure out a plan
you can't reason with a headless man

I don't exactly remember, but it was probably one of the Disney fairy tales. After I got through those (and I watched them a lot), I saw the three original Star Wars movies.
