If you could change one thing you've done in your life, what would it be and why?

I probably wouldn't have watched as much pro-wrestling as a child, lead to many ouchies.

I've learned to manipulate my memories and personal reflections to make everything seem like it worked out the way I wanted it to all along. Handy trick. In 1992 I lost the class Presidency because I felt like the administration of my Middle School was too corrupt.

I would never have gotten into drugs.

Seriously, I would be a doctor right now if I hadn't. (An addiction medicine specialist to be specific. Irony abounds.) Although I'm happy working in the film biz.

I would go back to my grade 9 year, I asked this girl I liked and was up to the ''friend'' level to sit with me at lunch, she did, and I proceeded to sit two chairs down and not talk to her during that lunch period. Safe to say that she lost her respect for me and chose not to talk to me for 3 years and after that I could never really get a conversation going.

I'd go back to high school and stop the kids bullying one of my clssmates, rather than ignoring the problem. Bothers me now...

There are a couple biggies.

I spent most of high school with a stupid crush on a young lady who was ostensibly dating someone else at the time. It took years to untangle the psychological hangups from all that before I could actually relate to the opposite sex normally.

In college, I didn't complete one final paper on time because I was procrastinating. So I asked if I could do it over the break. I didn't do it then either, and was too ashamed to do it later. I ended up with an F in the class purely due to my own stupidity - which looked super suspicious to potential employers, as I aced the other classes that semester.

Fortunately, after college I haven't done anything ruinous. Yet :-P

Stop myself from playing WoW. Seriously, if I had devoted that time to any skill I would be an artisan at said skill by now.

On-topic: I would probably go back to every school project I've ever had and NOT procrastinate to the night before it was due. That would save a lot of stress.

Also, I would probably learn how to study how to study a few years earlier. The ability to ace a test with little effort/studying is NOT a good thing when you come up on tests that you are somewhat unfamiliar with, topic wise. I'm in the midst of learning this the hard way.

Being born.

It was warm and comfortable in the womb.

Should have gotten into martial arts when I was younger. Then again, maybe 18 isn't such a bad age to start.

I also look back on possible High School relationships I could have had. Then again, high school relationships don't really matter in the long run, from what I've heard/experienced, so... Woo.

I don't know. Maybe I should have gotten (and learned to play) a guitar or something.

I would switch the country I was born in, into something more human and civilized.
OR
Would cheat on my college finals to get a *slightly* better grade.

I have the EXACT same problem! Except my nazi's ride tyrannasarous rexes and eat all the puppies...
