Beef, preferably in medium rare steak form, the meat for REAL MEN.

Chicken and bacon are both horribly overrated.

The most delicious meat of all: Human flesh! heals 25 HP, +5 RADS/SEC.
but that's rare, if I can't get it i prefer venison or beef. It has a nice human-y taste that I really like.

Anyone here who said "poultry" has clearly never been to a Brazilian churrascaria. You go to one of those and I guarantee that you'll change your mind.

Why in the world has no one said ham yet?

I can't stand the taste of red meat. The texture makes me gag, prolly because my mother could not cook for the first 10 years of my life.
I like poultry though. I substitute turkey for ground beef in most meals.

Beef, plain and simple. Unless placed against Bison, in which case there may be a competition.

You eh, forgot fish.

Anywho, I don't have a solid favorite. It generally depends on what kind of day I'm having. If I'd have to choose, I'd probably go for chicken, fish, or game.

Pork is amazing if cooked right. By right I mean med rare. Anytime someone cooks pork well done baby jesus masturbates. Think about how many kittens god kills for that.

Bacon to me is a necessity, not a meat. I would definately have to say beef, maybe a nice thick New York Strip, salt, pepper, a little garlic butter, and grilled to a perfect medium rare. MMMMMMM...Beef!

I'd also like to try a grizzly bear steak to see if it is a great and manly as it sounds.

It depends what the bear's been eating. If it's been eating too much fish it's not that great, but if it's being eating some nice berrys it tastes pretty delicious.(I'm told)

the monopoly guy:
Bacon and this thread has been done before, it was locked for being a useless thread.

Well it really can't be useless compared to other threads. It's a poll, and if a poll to get information on a random topic is useless and should be locked(which it kinda is, but come on..it's off-topic discussion) then The Escapist is obviously not being fair to all the others who have made random useless threads.

*note to mods that I was not insulting The Escapist, I was using sarcasm.*

*and also note that I'm not being a smartass nor do I have any intention of being mean, I'm just bored =p.*

Buffalo (bison) kicks ass! It should be on the poll, but with it's absence I'll go with beef.

I was at a Brazilian churrascaria. (Well, one in Chicago... but run by Brazilians.) They served a really mean bacon-wrapped chicken breast, as a change-up between all the different flavours of beef, so I doubt it'd confirm beef's superiority to anyone who doesn't see it that way already. Heck, even the bananas they served were delicious though I think any dedicated vegan/vegetarian would be well-advised not to enter.

(For those who don't know, churrascaria is a Brazilian style of restaurant that's sort of a reverse-buffet. You stay at the table, and waiters bring courses out to you and ask if you'd like some of whatever they're bringing out; if so, they'll carve it off a spit right there and serve it to your plate. It's an amazing way to try a lot of different types of meat, but if meat turns you off there's literally no way to escape it at a churrascaria...)

I went down to the organic grocer one day to try some organic beef.
As it sizzled in the pan I actually drooled into it.....
The smell and taste blew my mind in a way I cannot describe.
The meat you get from any grocery store is so full of bread and tooth paste no wonder it tastes so plain.
Take it from me, not that I am a skinny healthy person (Im actually fat and smelly) but organic meat is at least 2000% more tasty.

No Lamb? Often like a bit of lamb... Oh well, failing that, Chicken, preferably in an Enchilada. Either that or Roast Pork with crackling... Or Crumbed Steak...
Goddamit.

It was a tough choice. Voting for pork (bacon) means I can't vote for beef (steak!), but voting for beef means I can't vote for pork!

I picked Beef finally, because it's possible to use steak as a bacon carrier. Bacon-wrapped steak is where it's at.

I love the flesh of any animal. Anything made from pig is delicious, beef is good too. I've always loved veal, because it's nice and tender.

I'm tempted to say Human flesh (just for the comedy value) but if I must be honest, then I would have to go with Salmon (fish in other words).
