I've been in the Army for almost five years now and I've always wondered if men were attracted to women in uniform (more attracted to them because of the uniform). Women always talk about how attractive men in uniform are, but does it go both ways? (not just military, but police, medical ect.)

So, are women in uniform more attractive to you?

Whilst I can see this descending very quickly, I'd have to say yes. Generally it's the aura of determination, the uniform accentuating curves and a consciousness of what could be underneath waiting to get out.

Similarly, I guess, to F/M,M/M or F/F.

Well, if you think about it, aren't there doctor and policewoman outfits in porn? I don't mean to go down the dirty road, but I think that about says it all.

I like dress uniforms, like the type worn to medal ceremonies and such, but more because they instill in me more of a sense of respect then attraction.

Many uniforms I consider aren't very flattering for a woman's figure, but there are still quite a number that are. In the case of the latter, I do find they are rather more attractive than if the lady were in casual clothes.
A pretty lady in a tux is rather fetching too.

EDIT: I didn't really think about doctor's uniforms and such, since I thought the op was inferring towards the more formal uniforms. Civie uniforms tend not to be anything special in my eyes.

I am attracted to Jennifer Morrison of House, MD fame in GDI uniform in Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars.

Military? Maybe not. It would be intimidating me thinks. But a nurse, without going into that Freudian bullsh*t, well lets just say she could do a prostate exam anytime(hrmm that sounded better in my head)

Women in uniform are hot. It makes me want to get them OUT of that stuffy uniform.

I think it could very much depend on the type of guy, and what he's looking for.
Traditionally I believe women found men in uniforms attractive because the uniform reinforced the idea that the man was strong, dependable and powerful.
They're admirable qualities in any man or woman, but unfortunately not the prime qualities many men are looking for. Especially in younger people.

Not really for me. It's not a turn off, but not a look that stands out either.

I personally have no preference or distaste for women in uniform.

Uniforms play on our sense of power and sex is all (or at least in part or large part) about power. Whether one is attracted to school girls or nurses or cops or soldiers depends from person to person. But no matter what, a uniform plays a part in (first stage) attraction. As far as first impressions go "you are what you wear" is very much true.

Personally, I absolutely dig girls in military attire.

from a purely physical standpoint, no. Most uniforms that I've seen dont tend to be very flattering on women. as far as psychological factors, I certainly have a stronger sense of admiration for anyone in uniform, so I guess if the girl is attractive anyway, the uniform might be a plus.

Yes, hell yes in fact. I think strength is an attractive characteristic for anyone and military uniform presumes that. Maybe be not as fetching as a police uniform but not bad!

My opinion is that yes, women in certain uniforms look attractive. A military uniform on a woman gives them an air of confidence, that they have what it takes to be in a position of strength, which is something I admire in a woman.

Chamber Maid.
Air Hostess.
Cop.
etc.

Hell yeah.

It's a power exchange thing... Plus, a stylish, tight-fitted uniform on a good body is rarely something I would frown at.

Edit: To more specifically address the original poster's question - Women in uniform do not, in my mind, hold any innate attractiveness above what they bring TO the uniform. That said, there is a lot of appeal in taking the uniform out of context to introduce a sexual scenario. Read above ^

I would like to echo the sentiments of the previous poster (Jakal MC in case I've been ninja'd) with a resounding "Hell yeah!" Though I would put military/cop at the top and I dunno if I'd include air hostess and chamber maid at all.

Any kind of special dress is good...

Not really. Though, I am fond of boyish hair on girls (perhaps if they were required to cut it short?), and I think the training would get rid of some of the curves I'm not particularly fond of.
I mean, I wear military-esque clothing, I think it looks neat, so I guess if a girl dressed like that, it'd be sort of cute. Guys look pretty good in uniform, as well.

Some uniforms look nice and respect full on Women.With that i mean Police,Doctor,Buisness,Ect.
Although some just don't fit them.Like Military and other kinds like that.Although if a Woman is going to be attractive in my personal feeling,then it should be a Dress or nothing :P.

Yeah, if it's a dress uniform, ACUs/BDUs just look really weird on women, but then again, they do on everyone, without a vest and full gear.

It really does depend on the uniform in question, the person making the judgement and the person wearing it.

If answering the question from my own perspective, I have no idea why but I like the idea of a woman in a white lab coat and glasses, does that count as a uniform?

A woman in a uniform suggests that she has chosen a career path requiring intelligence and dedication.

Those are two very attractive qualities.

Shame that most uniforms for women are specifically designed to be as a-sexual as possible.

I am army also, and some women do look good in the uniform, but I refuse to mess with any army women, that is just asking for problems. With all the EO complaints, training, chain of command issues these days, it just is not worth it, even if they look like Jessica Alba.

If I were a lesbian, I would so dig it.
But really, chicks in uniforms automatically gain quite a bit of respect, and uniforms' relative blandness lets someone's true beauty stand out.

Women in uniform are strangely kinky to me, although its not a universal rule for me.
