No, they booted him because of his heroin problem and lousy attitude, which plagued him in the Megadeth years as well (he's had a lot of lineup changes). He has more talent than Kirk Hammet will, period. Comparing Dave to Kirk is like comparing a Porche to a Kia.

And seeing that you have only one post, I am convinced that this got somebody's attention outside of this forum and caused just what I predicted (in italics for your con-ven-ience).

Sorry, I have a softspot for Queen. And I also prefer the smooth-flowing and fast yet articulate vocals of Freddie Mercury over James Hetfield's raspy growling vocals any day of the week.

Under Pressure by My Chemical Romance and The Used. They butchered an absolute classic by Queen and David Bowie. They shouldn't be allowed to make music for committing such an atrocity.

I had mentally blocked the Snoop Dogg one, I think that was just too awful.

The Limp Billy-Bob-Bizkit cover wasn't as bad if you ignored Fred Durst's pointless flailing and inability to sing. Ruining 'Nothing Else Matters' just took it a step too far for me.
