Know what sucks? My medication helps my memory but caffeine makes it not work like antibiotics with birth control pills. |

Honestly, I would be too. But the thing is, I can't get Ginger Ale in Brazil. But I can get it on flights to the States and I really look forward to that Canada Dry every time... |

Gone Gonzo Posts: 4351 Joined: 9 Jul 2008 | Yes, in fact I have two right now. One is those Starbucks frappuccino things in the little glass bottles. I love their size, and they taste pretty damn good. When they're ice cold I sometimes start drinking it and can't stop and end up chugging the whole thing. The caffeine helps. The other drink is Snapple, most commonly in the glass bottles (pattern?). I (read: my mom, I can't drive to the store yet) buys shitloads of them in the 12 packs or whatever size they are. They're my main drink whenever I'm home. So, yeah. I also enjoy water (bottled or filtered) and most other coffee drinks. I drink 'regular'(not iced) tea too, which is fairly rare for someone my age in my country. |

Gone Gonzo Posts: 1341 Joined: 19 Jun 2008 | I don't know why I didn't share this in the OP, but I'm positive I'm literally addicted to Coke. I tried to stop and I lasted a few days, but I started getting headaches and then I just felt bad in general. And then I always felt like I was missing something. With some help from my mom actually, I deduced I was having withdrawal. Ever since, I've tried to limit myself to one a day... it's not worked, but being conscious of it has helped. |

Copy Clerk Posts: 100 Joined: 8 Jan 2009 | Pepsi, I get made fun of at work that I work over 9 hours a day and have to bring 3 in with me. Also had an alcohol addiction in fallout 3 once, took about 50 caps and a shot to get rid of it, too bad its not as easy to get out of the caffeine. |

I'm not sure, what kind of damage? |
Gone Gonzo Posts: 1916 Joined: 20 Jul 2008 | Mountain Dew apparently kills sperm, but it'll never kill enough to actually do any true damage...So no, it doesn't do damage. As for me, I'm rotting away my innards with all the Pepsi I drink. I try to cut back, but some stuff just tastes so damn good with Pepsi. |

Shaking cans, then opening them slightly to huff the carbonation is great. But yeah, I get hooked on carbonated drinks often, then I have to ween myself off when I notice, |

For the longest time (since the 80s) it's been believed that Yellow 5 (a coloring dye used in Mountain Dew and Mountain Dew Livewire) kills sperm. I recently found out this is actually not true. Also if it were the amount you'd have to ingest via Mountain Dew alone would probably kill you from caffeine overdose first. If you're still worried about potency, just go for the Dewmocracy flavors, those seem to be Yellow 5 free. Or at least I hope so given how addicted I am to The Dew in general (though I really wish they'd bring back Pitch Black) |

I second that tea addiction, but I had an energy drink addiction. I just didn't see the point in stopping, but I realized they were too expensive and stopped buying them. |

Infamous Scribbler Posts: 647 Joined: 27 Mar 2008 | From time to time I get into a caffeine habit of one sort of another. During my technical training (classes started around 6 AM at Keesler, and still do IIRC) I had a definite coffee habit- one large cup every morning, full of sugar and creamer because I despise the actual taste of coffee. I kept the coffee for another year or so. Eventually I drifted out of it, because I noticed how fuzzy I was every morning until I'd had a cup or two. |

I used to be very addicted to caffiene, so much that this one time I ran out of coke and by 9:00PM I had a huge stomach ache and extreme headaches. I had to go to McDonalds for a coke just to calm down and stop the withdrawel symptoms. There was also a time where I tried to limit myself to one can a day. I was able to do it and drank a lot more water. By the end of the week I just felt weird (and really healthy) and just started drinking coke again. My favorite pop is Dr. Pepper. |

Liar, you can't be addicted to Nuka-Cola. Even the manuel says that. |
Pulitzer Laureate Posts: 765 Joined: 9 Apr 2008 | I have a full cart of banana-strawberry juice in the fridge next to me, which will probably be empty by tomorrow morning. If someone gives me pomegranate juice I will inhale it, I love that stuff so much. |

Well, I mean besides alcohol, have you ever been addicted to a drink?
I have an addiction to this mix of Sprite and strawberry juice. It's really, really good.
I also consider myself a Coke (the drink) addict. I just can't say no...
