So which piece of music would you say best describes your personality and why. Mine would be 'Sacred Power of Raging Winds' by Rhapsody of Fire. They're nowhere near my favourite band, and it's nowhere near my favourite song of theirs, but it is just me. It has everything:

- A medieval fantasy theme
- A powerful and vibratingly deep monologue spoken by Christopher Lee
- An epic guitar and violin duet
- Orc vocals
- Wizards

The closest thing for me would be anything made under the P-Funk Genre. It's optimistic and happy, just generally positive sound, being happy for the sake of doing so. It's eclectic ranging from rhythmic to jazzy, serious to fun (mainly fun), it's all over the place but still collected and well-composed.

If you don't know what P-Funk is, check the link:

An example of said music - pardon the French site. It was the only clip I could find with decent sound quality:

Or that:

This reply took me 5 minutes to compile. Damn you for making me think about stuff, and find clips.

Requiem For a Dream - Clint Mansell. it's a great tune, intense at times, also quite calm but always fun.

"I believe I can fly-*Splat*"
But seriously, "Never Enough" By Five-Finger Deathpunch. It pretty much sums up how I'm feeling about my social life at this point

That piece is actually called Lux Aeterna.
It was just written for a film called Requiem For A Dream. *The more you know*

A song that sums up my life? Whistle Down The Wind by Tom Waits is pretty accurate.

Land of a Thousand Dances. Mostly the chorus.

"NAA, nananaNAA, nananaNAA, nanana, nanana - nananaNAAAA!"

Simple, random, a little repetitive, but always fun.

Monty Pythons "Always Look On The Bright Side Of Life"

Forever optimistic no matter what! If you can survive a three day holiday in France you can survive anything!

Yes, Requiem is possibly the most depressing film ever made, but it is none the less extraordinary. Definitely worth any film buffs time, I say film buff, because one of the biggest draws for me are all of the interesting directing techniques used throughout. It's undeniably an ostentatious film, but it carries itself so well that I can't say I mind.

If you find Lux Aeterna interesting, you also might want to look up the film The Fountain. Which was directed by Darren Aronofsky (Requiem For A Dream) who's buddy Clint Mansell cooked up another original score for the film.

This is a taste, my personal favorite of the score; Death Is The Road To Awe.

Chiron - All That Remains. Intense, with mellow parts, and the lyrics are quite accurate to me.

Possibly "She is Beautiful" by Andrew WK because I know a girl like that (as I'm sure all of us do)
or "Reasons to Live" by Dragonforce

EDIT: "Two out of Three Ain't Bad" ~Meatloaf

It is quite good, I reccomend it. I could be summarized entirely by the song "Damn it Feels Good to Be A Gangsta" by the Geto Boys. "Everything is cool in the mind of a gangsta cause gangsta ass niggas think deep. Up 365, yo 24/7 cause real gangsta ass niggas don't sleep." Office Space FTW!

'City of Delusion' by Muse, because of my tendency to abuse the modern state of the media (it's deluded, and could be metaphorically perceived as a city).

Or, mor appropriately but less favourably 'Everyboy's Changing' by Keane, cause I find it hard to keep up with people who are never the same and I always feel different myself.

Bleh.
