I'd almost rather have a sequel trilogy, I.E. 7, 8, 9. Hell, they've already got the plot; just rip it off from the Expanded Universe, since they own it. I can already see it.

I dunno re done in high level CGI with better more polished acting and humor...it could be good..... but frankly.....the first 3 are the best 3...its the next 3 that need a re do.....

Say or do whatever you want, the only Star Wars is 1977's A New Hope, 1980's The Empire Strikes Back, and 1983's Return of the Jedi (special edition re-releases are acceptable because you cannot get the original versions on DVD). There is no other. Calling the prequels authentic Star Wars is, to quote Yahtzee, "cock-slapping the Mona Lisa."

I think it would be pretty cool, I would change the story a bit as I don't quite think it's held the test of time too well.

I've never actually read the books but from what people have told me they are what should be made into movies rather than using George's original ideas for them.

The title of this thread made me bleed from my heart a little. I would have to murder Lucas before he could do it too. But then I doubt I would be the only one either.
