I hate it, and the only way to get away from it is to not watch or listen to anything, no matter what website i go to(it seems), there is alwaus some damn add with celebrities. I guess maybe Al gezera(sorry if i spelt it wrong) won't report on it because of a war in their backyard, I am a canadian, I never hear about canadian celebrities, always hollywood. It is so unimportant to me, this stuff doesn't belong in real news, theres an Entertainment tonight for a reason people.

This goes with the magazines on the shelves at the supermarket or drugstore, its usually a bunch of bullshit anyway. everytime i see one of these magazines in my house, it goes straight to the recycle bin.

Can't see much room for discussion here. But if you really hate Hollywood that much, why don't, you know, ignore it?

We get a fair deal of Hollywood gossip here in Norway too, but I don't care, because I possess the power of not giving a damn.

It is so very hard to ignore when your trying to get real news, unless you read a newspaper, but even then sometimes theres celebrity crap outside the entertainment section

Well, if she named her son that, I would be impressed.

But yes, celebs are annoying. Do I care what a woman down my road called her child? No, not really. So, why therefore should I care just because she has a tv show?

The people who profit from gossip magazines and the people who fund gossip magazines (and the whole culture) should be ground into mince and used to feed the starving nations across the world.

That's about all the energy I can muster for celeb news I'm afraid.
