What's your best film ever, past, present or upcoming.

Mine is a combo of 300, Dark Knight and Monty Python and Holy Grail!!

Oyea and the first Battle Royale is very good too :D

Mine is "O Brother Where Art Thou?"

There are a lot of other movies out there that I like a whole bunch, but this one is special. Whenever it's on TV, my whole family has to sit down and watch it.

Mine is the Shawshank Redemption.
Or the Dark Knight.

A film called Jincha Sanai. I saw it twice on TV, both times while channel surfing. It had everything. Gunfights, car chases, love, rebellion, shootouts, a powerful finish and a killer soundtrack.

Since I saw it, I've never been able to find it again.

Cool Runnings - first movie I ever saw and still the best.

Too many to say.

300, Dark Knight, Saving Private Ryan, The Great Escape I mean the list just goes on and on

All good movies so far though i must admit i haven't heard of Jincha Sanai but i will keep an eye out for that. I would have to say that Blade Runner is currently my "Best Film Ever" but that is subject to change at a moments notice. Other honorable mentions include The Blues Brothers, Withnail & I, and Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.

Fallen
Vanishing Point
Die Hard
South Park: Bigger, Longer and Uncut
Last Boy Scout

Easy, Southland Tales.
Think it's listed under "awsome" in the dictionary.

Casablanca, obviously.

Raiders of the Lost Ark
Blade Runner
Hot Fuzz
The Incredibles
The Magnificent Seven

In Bruges
Clerks
step brothers
and pineapple express are probably my favorites because all of them made me laugh really hard and all were different comedy movies that i love and i could watch over and over again.

oh lock stock and two smoking barrels, snatch, fight club, dogma, and rounders are other movies that could have gone into one of my favorites but there not movies that i could watch over and over again, but these are in my "in the mood" movies.

City Of God

Adam Jenson:
Raiders of the Lost Ark
Blade Runner
Hot Fuzz
The Incredibles
The Magnificent Seven

Pretty much the only respectable list so far.

The Lion king
The Hunchback Of Notre Dame
The Shawshank Redemption
Casino Royale
The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy
Sin City
Hot Fuzz

My nominees.

I honestly don't care about being labeled a Deja Vu Nazi, this is a repeat thread. Use the "Search Forums" button next to "My Profile/Settings".

Forrest Gump. Hands Down.

Evil Dead
Evil Dead II
Army of Darkness

*grins*
*thumbs up*
*single sparkle on teeth that makes a "ding" sound*

O' Brother where Art thou?
Big Fish

Bruce Campbell, in almost anything is good.
I also like the search button and it's deja reducing glory.

Lion King,
I am Legend,
Luhrmann's Romeo and Juliet

Wes Anderson films.
Baseketball.
Fight Club.
Serenity.
Hot Rod.
Wayne's World.
Ferris Bullers Day Off.
Pulp Fiction.

Garden State
Kill Bill (vol.2 is better)
Forrest Gump
V for Vendetta
Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind.

hmm thats quite a range of genres.

Dare I say it --- but Fight Club is overrated!

#1 and 2: Toss up between Blade Runner and Gattaca, depends on my mood
#3: Shawshank Redemption
#4: Ed Wood
I really wouldn't know beyond this point.
Avalon perhaps? Thomas in Love? Something like that I guess, to round out the list :)

galletea:

Big Fish

I think I'm in love...
*swoons

I'm still not sure whether I prefer this one or Finding Neverland.

Cool Runnings - first movie I ever saw and still the best.

Awesome!

Italian Job, Underworld series, Bourne series and a slight guilty preassure for FFVII.

I enjoy so many movies, it's hard to list just one.

Absolute fun in a movie: Ocean's Eleven
Sentimentality's sake: Star Trek II
Emotionally great movie: The Ultimate Gift
Silly and fun: Undercover Blues
Silly beyond reason: Holy Grail
Christmas: Miracle on 34th St (The original)
Stupid Humor: Revenge of the Nerds
Action: Bourne Series
Musical: Seven Brides for Seven Brothers
Chick Flick: Bridget Jones' Diary
Cartoon: Lady and the Tramp
Epic: North and South (Fudging a bit, since this was a mini-series)
Western: Rio Bravo
Sci/fi: Serenity
Fantasy: Waiting for a Terry Brooks movie to be made
Horror: Exorcism of Emily Rose
Silly Horror: Return of the Living Dead ("Send more paramedics!")

Cruel intentions -> makes me feel like i'm not the world's biggest A-hole
Scarface -> say hello to my little friend! (Nuff said!)

Shaun of the Dead
The Shawshank Redemption
The Usual Suspects
The Untouchables
Oldboy
Die Hard

Across the universe

Hmm this has been done plenty..

Tenacious D - Pick of destiny.

I've said it before, I'll say it again: Army of Darkness is the best movie ever made. All other movies have flaws, but Army of Darkness is perfection. Every scene is classic, every one-liner is hilarious and eternally quotable. It's pure, unbridled awesome in movie format, and no movie can compare.

There are a few, but if I'd have to say one, it would probably be Terminator 2. It's just so perfect. Watching the crap action movies nowadays really makes me appreciate it.

Amelie.
