Paperboy Posts: 27 Joined: 6 Feb 2009 | The "New" Dawn of the Dead movie. For two reasons, first the zombies were running. Last time I checked, zombies weren't too good at anything beyond a very determined shuffle. And second, when the fat chick comes in with a huge bite mark on here and the chick who watched her boyfriend/husband turn into one right after the zombie girl bit him and does or says nothing. Also wanted to say that 28 Weeks Later, sucked as well but I don't know if that can be considered a zombie movie. |

I like the running thing, everyone else copied it (res evil3, 28 days later, er and others) With out stupid people there would be no zombie apocalypse, but agreed on the fat chick (who's really a dude) |

no way Diary of the Dead was good, it was a real throw back to the old style of "of the dead" series as for bad movies, the new Day of the Dead was bad |

That's the joke. |
Gone Gonzo Posts: 1086 Joined: 23 Dec 2008 | Oh god, the Zombie Diaries is HORRIBLE. They're just trying to make a "realistic" zombie film, with a character that rapes zombies. Seriously, WTF? |

Serious? I have not seen this film but I think I may go look for it now... Yea I scare myself sometimes aswell. |

I liked the high-speed zombies too. Very cool seeing them sort of shambling along, then as soon as they see you, ZOOM FOOD OM NOM. |

Paperboy Posts: 17 Joined: 2 Dec 2008 | I like the fast zombies. But the way Left 4 Dead has done it. They only run when they see or are aware of their prey. 28 Weeks Later was pretty bad. I would consider it a sub-class of zombie film, in that it is an apocalypse based on the destruction of the human race by humans that are under the affects of...something. (It's late). I agree with Maggot666, though. Land of the Dead went a little far with zombies recognising and learning how to use tools. Even if zombies were around long enough to have a recollection of their surroundings, they are characteristically brain dead or acting on the most basic of instincts. Not to say that zombies using tools is impossible, it just need to be explained and portrayed in a different way. |

That was my favorite part of dawn of the dead, 3 zombie's walking on the road, they see people and all of a sudden have a spaz and run towards them at 50km/h. So unexpected, and so awesome. |

Paperboy Posts: 24 Joined: 19 Oct 2008 | Ideal of fast paced zombies are people or our generation doesn't get scared easily anymore. Every time I watch a horror flick I think hey head through the front door and run and run like hell... Don't stop just run one direction, sure take of your cloth if your some double d sized chest chick. But keep running for one direction, that way you live for a long long long time. Seriously if the world just happened to be infected or whatever and there was a zombie apocalypse( big word), I think most people would survive if zombies just shuffled there way around. |

Nice! Good thing he did that 2000 years ago because if a man did that today we would have the shotguns at the ready. |

I don't know where you got that idea. George A. Romero's first three Living Dead movies are rightful classics. Danny Boyle directed a very understated and intense film with 28 Days Later. The sequel wasn't too shabby either. But Romero's stuff is quality. Of course, for every good action/horror movie, there's at least ten stinky ones. |

I think the brits finally have a film award for the Zombie Diaries. I think they have tried to high-jack the publicity of George Ramero's "The Diaries of the Dead" (which was a bit disappointing). Zombie Diaries was made on a low budget, with trying to make it actors and whilst some bits were well done, mostly it was just bad.
But there must be a worst film zombie flick out there, so what is it?
(yes it have seen Zombie Strippers, it was funny and serious?)
