SSBB is an awsome game and probably the best game on the wii so far. it has a story mode whic allows you to take on any of the characters at one stage and eventually defeat the last boss, Tabuu. anyway the game is the 3rd in the Super Smash Bros. series - starting on the N64. no other game could ever match this game coz it is an awsome game and it is on the wii.
Personally I am the best as Lucas, but he is only 1 of the many 35 characters that the game has in total. It also has a hole heep of mini extention levels like Boss-Battles, Where you fight all of the bosses. There is also four 3 hidden Characters: Wolf, Toon Link and Jigglypuff. These 3 character are generally no easy task to unlock, for starters you must defeat the Sub Space Emissinary (story). Then each character must be either found in the story mode, or unlocked by finishing a task to be able to brawl them E.g. Wolf you must first defeat boss battles with Fox/Falco. Then you must brawl him and win.

I'm not going to complain - I'm going to offer constructive criticism.
Ok, first of all this is not Gamespot, for example - user reviews are taken deadly seriously here and there are a number of very talented people posting said reviews. I personally recommend that a review be a minimum of 800 words, with clear descriptions, opinions and details. Proper spelling, grammar and punctuation are all very important as well.
You should explain exactly what the game is, what its about and explain your opinion to the reader. Theres a few "how to write reviews" threads on these forums so I'll let you find that (I'll try and link you if I find it)
Welcome to the Fourms, and if you plan on making more reviews, you may need to put a bit more information, and information about it, like you were telling someone who has never heard about it.
That being said, Welcome to The Escapist, hope you enjoy you're stay!
Secondly: If you're going to write a game review, make it longer, more extensive and unbiased. That way you'll come off as more professional and serious (fifteen exclamation marks does not). Read some of the other user reviews around to get a quick input on how it's done and from there adapt your own writing style.
On the very much plus side, your grammar and writing isn't bad. And that's a start, especially on these forums. But try to snag out the random capitalized letters, abbreviations and acronyms.
nastar: SSBB is an awesome game and probably the best game on the Wii so far. (Completely subjective, I liked Metroid Prime 3 personally. You should keep bias to a minimum in reviews as they are to be informative.)It has a story mode which allows you to take on any of the characters at one stage and eventually defeat the last boss, Tabuu. Anyway, the game is the 3rd in the Super Smash Bros. series -(Why is there a dash here?) starting on the N64. No other game could ever match this game coz (Do you mean "because"? Because "coz" isn't a word.) it is an awesome game and it is on the Wii. (Why is it the best game on the Wii? You spent an entire paragraph repeating one line, and gave us no information as to why. Also, you don't usually begin and end a paragraph with the same sentence, especially if it tells us what the paragraph is about. The only other time is when you are working in a circle to support the point you made the first time, in which you weren't. It's just terrible form.)
Please leave a space for paragraphs that change ideas.
Personally I am the best as Lucas, (Completely unnecessary information at this point, and that should end the sentence there.) but he is only 1 of the many 35 characters that the game has in total.(This should read, "However, he is only one of the 35 characters in the game." What you wrote is complete bunk with useless verbosity and constant repetition.) It also has a whole heap of mini extention (Did you mean "extension" perhaps?) levels like Boss-Battles, (Why did we capitalize? Is this a new sentence?)Where you fight all of the bosses.(What bosses? Like.... Bowser? Or King K. Rool? What bosses are you talking about?) There is (Are. There are) also four 3 (Four and three? Which is it? Four or three? Or did you mean, "There are three or four"? Or did you mean forty-three? Why did you mix the way you express numbers in the same sentence?) hidden Characters: Wolf, Toon Link and Jigglypuff. These 3 character are generally no easy task to unlock, for starters you must defeat the Sub Space Emissinary(Emissary, no 'n'.)(story). Then each character must be either found in the story mode, or unlocked by finishing a task to be able to brawl them E.g. Wolf you must first defeat boss battles with Fox/Falco. Then you must brawl him and win.

Having never done this before is no excuse for not practicing proper grammar and spelling etiquette. This gets a 12%, a colossal failure. See me after class, there's just simply not enough time to go over everything wrong with this before the bell rings.

Thanks to D_987! I appoligize for the incorect grammar and I acctually didn't have any idea how to write a review but with the reply from D_987, I now sort of know how to write a review on games. ps: now that I know there are people on this site who take these forums very seriously, I will try and do a bit better and get better after every review!
madbird-valiant: This is hardly a review. This is a slightly longer equivelant of "OMG SSBB IS TEH AWESOME".
Also, welcome to the Escapist and Forums.
Sorry I am complaining I can't help it
The poster I quoted is right. This is not a review, It is an opinion, I got bored of SSBB after about 3 hours (and believe me if it had not been the game I had dreamed of for years now it would have been 5 minutes).
nastar: Thanks to D_987! I apologize for the incorrect grammar and I actually didn't have any idea how to write a review (Then read some professional reviews). But with the reply from D_987, I now sort of know how to write a review on games. You can start by using spell check and proper grammar. Those red lines under words in your post box? They're misspelled. Fix please. Even if there are no lines, by fourth grade you should learn to spell "incorrect".
I also think that you should read TheNecroswanson's editing of your original review.
I was actually thinking of doing a review for this. If this was a good review I wouldn't,but now I'm confident I can have a decent one up in the next few hours. Stay tuned.

Oh God. I'd run, before you get obliterated by the grammar Nazis.
This review is just.. bad. Not "Campy" bad either, just plain bad. Try not to make yourself sound like a fanboy while trying to maintain an unbiased point of view (Something all reviewers should strive for.) I could go on and nit-pick this whole review down to the core, but Necroswanson has already beaten me to the punch. You need work. Brush up on your stuff before making another review.
Oh I think this young sir will have fun here. As far as constructive criticism goes, know this: This is not a review. This is an opinion, and a short and poorly-conveyed one at that. If you want to persist writing reviews, do it with proper English (no offense if you happen to be just learning English), back up your arguments (better yet, keep personal opinions out of it completely), and make sure you aren't just saying the exact same thing again and again. Here, let me shorten down your review:
SSBB is a good game. There's a final boss at the end. It's for the Wii.
Time for: Megapenguinx attempts to be cool like Nuke!
nastar: SSBB (I'd recommend you right out the full title instead of the acronym) is an awesome game and probably the best game on the Wii so far.(Please refrain from subjective comments). It has a story mode which allows you to take on any of the characters at one stage(Sounds choppy, needs rephrasing) and eventually defeat the last boss, Tabuu. Anyway the game is the 3rd in the Super Smash Bros. series - starting on the N64(This would be a better intro sentence). No other game could ever match this game because it is an awesome game (Don't make generalizations, and again try to refrain from bias) and it is on the Wii.
Personally I am the best as Lucas, but he is only 1 of the many(Unnecessary) There are 35 characters that the game has in total. ItThe game also has a whole heap of mini extension levels like Boss-Battles, where you fight all of the bosses. There is also three hidden Characters:

(Talk more about game play, characters, weapons, etc and try organizing your thoughts out beforehand. I'd recommend typing posts in an application such as Word or Pages to take advantage of that program's spell check)
Thanks for listening! And welcome to the Escapist!
