Alright can't wait to see it. Thanks for the review
Definitely a vast improvement over the Babysitter. A fantastic second episode. Here's hoping it improves this much each time, eh?
interesting | |
I just finished watching it, and quite honestly, I found it to be a lot worse then the first one. The art style felt like it was trying to be anime, it just didn't sit right with me. Also, I really didn't like the long pauses, and still frames (especially during the final fight scene, where they just stand there perfectly motionless for a good 5-10 seconds, and the camera doesn't even move) . It would be cool to take a screenshot of, but otherwise, it has no place in a Halo anime.
I have to say, I did not like the art. The story was entertaining if a little bit generic. I have to ask, why was the Arbiter's enemy (I can't be bothered to remember his name all right) wearing samurai armor? I am fairly certain that Shangellios is not space Japan. Also, I am fairly certain that they got the design of the Shangelli neck/head area wrong. It should jut out from the torso, not have a gentle curve. Overall I preferred the babysitter.
Wouldn't that make the last one even better than Marty's music? And wouldn't that cause a rift and space and time?
I saw it. It was terrible, just like the first. And if the Female sangheili really looked like that, then there is no way the males could ever have gotten themselves to willingly reproduce with that.
Something tells me alot of people will disagree, especially with that last part. People are attracted to all kinds of things.
DL up! | |
What scene would that be exactly? Meh. I think they make everything look uglier in that show. I actually liked how the elites looked in the games, but it just looks ugly in this show.
Its a weird sort of thing to call halo related. It's like taking samus and putting her in aztec armor and having her sacrifice to the snake god. It's connected in name and by a single character alone. I will admit that the style was cool, but it seemed more like a filter then anything.
It was good. But I think I prefer the first one, but just because it was easier to digest than this one.
I thought it was good and all, and I would love to see more episodes about the Elites, but I just hope to God they don't use the same art style in future episodes. Also I'm glad they sort of gave them normal sounding voices, as opposed to the garbled noises that they always made in the games.
I think it will be his favorite. Elites! Though, really, Elites are awesome.
Indeed they most certainly are, I already made my satements on a previous thread so I won't go into too much detail except for my obvious compaint that they made the female elite look more human, presuambly to make her more relatable to a human audience. This however I fail to understand, I think just getting the archetype of an elite, making it thinner and more feminine (though no breasts because if they are reptiles that's a body function they would lack) and there you go female elite. I mean as I said before they are free to make an artist interpretation (not too sure about all the Japanese themes though) and I at least enjoyed a glimpse at the elites perspective. I just wish they hadn't gone and made the elite woman so human because elites are already perfectly awesome and sexy already.
I thought it was nice. Not because it was Halo, because I didn't think it didn't follow my mental picture of elites.
download link doesnt work?
It felt a bit like a Samurai film...Wait, it was a Samurai film. I don't remember killing an army like that with only a an energy sword. Sheesh the elites of today aren't what they used to be... Somehow, I preferred the Babysitter.
You may remember my Halo Legends: The Babysitter review 2 weeks ago. Well, now the new one is out and I'm back to review it. This episode was better than the last by far. This episode focuses on a past Arbiter, Fal 'Chavamee. This story gives backstory on the Rank of The Arbiter. The plot and art were amazing, as were the fight scenes. However, I found the rampant flashback abuse annoying. The Giant Hunter was awesome, and it doesn't violate canon. I find it odd how female Elites have hair and no mandibles, unlike the bald, mandible owning, males. The ending was good, and the puddle of blood, while looking big when spraying out, was realistic. All in all, 9/10.
