[Complete 1/4] Let's Play Mega Man (Blind): Volume 31-Finale

11/20 EDIT: In the latest update, the massively massive rage begins. And it is glorious.

*Before I even get started, let me quote the user review forum rules to avoid mod wrath or misinformed users-

Let's Plays

If you are writing up a Let's Play, or if you're using recording software to create a video version, this is the section to put these. Let's Plays allow you to share what you're playing with your fellow posters, as well as giving you an outlet to evaluate the game you're (hopefully) enjoying. Like analyses, please label these topics as a "Let's Play", so users can tell them apart from reviews and analyses.

Anyway, I finally, after about two years of waiting, started an LP. And in those two years I finally decided on what to do- to play through the six original Mega Man games completely blind (no research or test runs), without save states or anything. Just me, the game, and wrapping for my hands after punching the wall in rage.

So, I've already uploaded parts 1-6, and this being my first one in a while I started off a little rough in the narration department, but by part 6 it gets a whole lot better.

I love mega man! I can't wait for you to run through 2 since it was the only original one I beat. Why aren't you doing 7 or 8?

also I couldn't watch all the LP's your mic is terrible! it's picking up a high pitched squeel that as far as I can tell runs through all the videos. It becomes really noticeable after a couple minutes.

also how are you playing these blind? seems impossible to me.

I know, and I can't record at high quality or it gets really bad. But you get used to it after a while. And soon I might find the money to get a better one.

And the next one is out, where I actually beat Fire Man a lot earlier than expected. But don't worry, I get right back to the failure over the next 8 and counting parts against Ice Man.

And so begins the Ice storm-

And the rage is here. I've decided that at the end of each game, I'll upload a compilation of my best rages.

Also, most importantly-

In four parts, it will get to a massive microphone upgrade.

That means no more squealing sound and much higher quality.

And finally, if you're looking for lots and lots of rage, wait for part 17 and when I get the last Wily stage. If you enjoy other people's suffering, you'll love those parts.

And finally finally, feel free to subscribe to the channel. You know, if you want to.

These are the last parts before the microphone upgrade begins.

Microphone upgrade go. And I finally beat Ice Man, so I can get out of this rut of failure and rage. Also, if you've been waiting for rage attacks, they're right here. Mostly in 17 I think.

And according to the playlist, this has gone on for over 3 hours so far.

The first stage after Ice Man is here, and in higher quality this time. But this is just the calm before the... the... Wily storm? No, that doesn't work at all. Nevermind. Whatever.

All robot masters are down. More rage coming in Dr. Wily's stages.

I thought you were playing this without sight still cool though.

You didn't update your thread title just FYI, luckily I follow you on youtube so didn't miss it :p

Moving on to Dr. Wily's stages. The rage is coming. No one can hide.

The rage is coming very, very soon. And there's a lot of it. But for now, I just die a bit.

After way too much time, now that I've gotten some things taken care of and my internet is sucking a few less balls, I'm trying to get back to consistent updating. So yeah. Part 27. The playlist timer on Youtube is backing and it says I've spent almost five hours on this game. That's longer than Kane & Lynch 2. And it's not over yet. Not nearly.

I've been playing Skyrim almost always, and when I haven't I've been working on a film, but I finally found some time to upload again.

Also, this is where the massive rage starts. The biggest rage of the series.

It's over. I have completed the game, and it only took me 5 hours, 33 minutes, and 55 seconds, over 33 parts. For reference, most people rarely pass one hour.

But I did it. And you know what that means? Only five games to go.
