| Got a new review finished, this time i go through some of my favourite songs from Family Guy. Have a butchers and see what you think:
|
| I just have to say kudos to Tom Brady (Patriots quarterback who did his own voice-acting) for being so willing to take the piss in that episode.
Also, Family Guy's musical numbers are best when they're parodying a certain style/genre, not when they're just redoing an original (for the most part). Shipoopi was pretty much hilarious, and the Surfin' Bird gag was just absurd.
Finally, Seth MacFarlane was clearly born a few decades late and should have been alive in the 40s-50s. |

definitely, there are a few celebs that do their own voices and big kudos to all of them

That's partly why i didn't put Surfin' Bird in, it wasn't one of THEIR songs, they were playing the original. Shipoopi/FCC were my favourite songs until i heard Bag of Weed. they would still be my top 3 though.

what makes you say that? i don't know a lot about 40s/50s shows |

MacFarlane's comedy might be modern, but his taste in big show tunes is very 40s/50s. |
