Beat Writer Posts: 163 Joined: 9 Oct 2007 | Tim Schafer is still one of the greatest minds in video games even to this day. Creativity and high quality storytelling aren't something you usually see much of from developers nowadays, but Double Fine still has these qualities. |

Anonymous Source Posts: 4 Joined: 21 Mar 2008 | Double Fine makes fun, creative games are different than anything else out there. SEGA used to do that, but ever since the demise of the Dreamcast, they seem afraid to push the creative envelope. So, my vote goes to Double Fine. |

I don't care who their parents are the kid could still come out missing half his brain. *edit* OK so they made Psychonauts too. I hear that's a good game complaint withdrawn. |

Anonymous Source Posts: 9 Joined: 21 Mar 2008 | Sega had a good run, but Double Fine is a bit like that rising star in the sports world--if they keep it up, they could make it to the top. Sega's horrendous treatment of Sonic had a lot of influence on my vote. That and, quite frankly, Psychonauts can easily beat out any platformer on any system I've ever played. |

(3) SEGA vs. (14) Double Fine:
SEGA: Nintendo's only real competition for years and still a major publisher/developer. I mean, come on, who hasn't heard of Sonic?
Double Fine: Double Fine has a potential blockbuster coming out: Brutal Legend. When being backed up by founder Tim Schafer (from LucasArts) there is plenty of potential, but is it enough to toss SEGA from the tourney?
