Paperboy  Posts: 38 Joined: 29 Mar 2008 | In before fans from Harmonix's site come and bombard this poll making 5 to 6 accounts just to make them win with stupid reasons like, "lol Harmonix ftw!! lol!!" or, "This is for taking down Nintendo!!!" No disrespect Harmonix is a great developer, (as we saw from the transition of GHII to GHIII) but even though they are well made, all they make are rhythm games. But the same can be said about Epic Games with both of their most popular game series being a bloody shooter. So I guess its a battle of tastes and I like a good shooter better than a good rhythm game. |

See, on the one hand we have a company dedicated to giving us a real music simulation and a rock education to boot, not to mention the constant stream of quality DLC On the other hand we have a company that's given us some of the most enduring games out there and with a near unmatched dedication to cross platform compatibility Both are noble goals but I'll need to work out the cons... unfortunately there aren't really any cons that either both companies aren't guilty of or that isn't really their fault that we know of... I'm gonna have to sit and think about this one |

If it comes down to epic against valve or something then epic is going to lose half its supporters, whereas the HMX crew will have nobody else to vote for (I'm giving bioware similar cross platform props, but they never made a linux installer) |

(2) Harmonix vs (5) Epic
Harmonix: LucasArts finds a force stronger than its own and is defeated by Harmonix. I've heard music can soothe the savage beast, but will it work against the FPS monster known as Epic?
Epic: In a close battle, Epic takes down Mario and Link for a shot at being one of the last 4 teams in the tournament. Can they take down the hardcore rockers of Harmonix?
