Sorry that both weeks I haven't sent one in, my internet has been out for a week and a bit, plus just starting college really cut my internet time, I'll have one up for next week though

We got exactly one entry this week, gang. One. Thank you for that, Portal Maniac. But I think we'll just hold off until next week to run the Digest. Hopefully we'll get some more entries by then.

Portal Maniac, you can send a longer synopsis next week, if you like, to sum up both weeks. Seems only fair.

Hrm.

I'm fairly certain Samuel sent his in. He was asking me for the email and the info early Sunday morning, (England time, around 11am.)

Nope. I thought it rather unusual at the time. Everyone, please double check the email address you're sending to.

Well, folks, today will mark the final installment of RP Digest, at least for the time being. We only received two submissions this past week, so it just isn't catching on the way we had hoped.

I'm open to suggestions as to how we might revive or improve RPD.

advertisements, random rants, previews of games, reviews of games, interviews, top 100 games voted by the public, the list could go on...

Many of those are great ideas, but we've consistently had trouble getting anyone to contribute. If they can't get it together enough to submit 100 words, can we really expect them to regularly submit anything at all?

Nope. There's no reward in it to destroy laziness, unless the GM is in need of more players.

I've submitted whenever I could, though I did miss a few weeks. I thought it was a good experiment: thus far it's gotten me one player who expressed interest in my RP because of what they read in the Digest, so I consider it worth the effort. I'd hate to see it stop.

What we need is more people who like RPs in general.

If we got more traffic than the 30-40 or so regulars that come to this section, then things wouldn't be so slow, and the RP Digest wouldn't be threatened.

All in all, I blame school, jobs, and the lack of crazies we have.
Err...... the lack of CREATIVE crazies....

Sorry Prototypes hasn't had updates. The RP is running slow, and there isn't much I haven't already done to do about it.

I'm not sure what to do really. Hopefully it will pick up, but otherwise, I won't be able to do much. The RP Recession has hit everything pretty hard.

A place to post advertisements for RPs would be awesome. I made a poster for my RP a while ago, and posted it in the art thread because I couldn't think of anywhere else to put it (it's the third one in the linked post). Dunno if it would get many more submissions than that, but it would be cool.

well if you get a select few to do reviews and stuff, sure it'd be more a monthly basis , but wouldn't the quality be better?

As a side note, I'd happily help with any of that. I'm a sucker for helping out.

And, rejoice! Portal, AE and I may have fixed the RP Recession!

I don't care what you say Samuel, it exists! It's real!

I know it does, but it's as normal as the tides!

..Who are pretty damn weird, so bad example.

Hay! Are you talking about that entire Bank-NYPD bangbang thing?

What? I thought there wasn't one this week! If I'd known I would have had one up for Surge.

Susan said they were discontinuing it, so I didn't send one in. If I'd thought there was going to be one this week, I would have written something up (though not much has happened in my RP...).

I've been so very tempted to write up a piece for Project Genesis, but I haven't found the time.

If this is back up and running by the time my Viking RP starts, you can expect an entry from me every single week.

I hope it starts up again also! I would definitely submit an entry every week for my RP and I am disappointed it has ended. It wasn't really the fault of the GMs though, the posting was so non-existent for a while, it would have been almost impossible to write a summary.

I too again return to write summaries. If all GM's here make a pledge, I think we could have a resurrection. I ask you all will you write a summary this week, and if we have enough maybe Susan will begin the RP digest again.

Maybe if we made the Digest update every 2 weeks instead of one we could get more per week.

Sounds good I'll write a summary for the Vanguard.

Assuming this does work to revive the Digest, just use my last submission Susan.

Nothing else has happened :(

So who should we send our submissions to for next week?
