Sorry but both your guesses are wrong sadly, sigh I can't make it any simplier without making it obivious to a six year old. (No this isn't a clue this is me being saddened by the lack of puzzle solving minds here).

a fish

also it only seems easy once you know what it is

I am a puzzle solver and riddle asker, my puzzles are fit challenges but are answerable, and no it isn't a fish.

Is it Hades?

Is it Pegasus? Seems like it since Medusa and Poseidon were the parents and they wouldn't be able to look face to face.

No and no.

No and no. Sorry double posted.

misterfive:
Alright now here is a stumper,

My brother is married to the shore, my sister died in lore.
My father and mother often meet but not face to face.
Who am I?

HE?

As in the word. Just have a feeling it has something to do with the letters composing the words.

Or maybe it has something to do with food...

Is that your musings or a guess because its not the answer I am looking for either way.

It's you. Misterfive.

Damn right, okay you can ask the next riddle.

Alive as you but without breath,
as cold in my life as in my death;
never a thirst though I always drink,
dressed in a mail but never a clink.

It's a fish!

ParanoidAndroid:
It's a fish!

damn, you beat me to it!

misterfive:
Damn right, okay you can ask the next riddle.

Could you please explain why you are the answer to the riddle?

Nickompoop:

Could you please explain why you are the answer to the riddle?

The question was "Who am I?" and he is Misterfive, the rest of the riddle was just glamour, at least that is what I think.

Not just that, the stuff about my sister, brother, mother and father are personalized questions. Not in a form of a metaphor true I made it sound like it was but once you figure out what I meant by "Who am I"? You can realize that only I would know about the details of my siblings and parents regardless on how I put it. It's basically mixing a simple question with the possible paradox of "Why is a raven like a writing desk"? The stuff before doesn't have an answer but the line at the end does.

I can't think of a riddle, so the next poster can go.

Well it's been 48 hours so I am going to ask one since I am bored of waiting for someone else to post. So here it goes,

A desperate machine that never cools but will never burn?

a broken ac?.
i really don't know

A deus ex machina? :D

a heater?

Gypsy ninja pirate zombie king:
a broken ac?.
i really don't know

Ah sorry didn't check the thread in awhile. Yes a broken AC is a acceptable answer.

wow i didn't think i was right. i just thought of the most literal answer.

i don't have a Riddle so next poster can go ahead.

Alright I've got one:
A man wakes up in a concrete room with no windows, no doors, and no exits or entrances. The only things that are in the room are a mirror, and a table. How does he escape?

He looks in the mirror,
He sees what he saw,
He takes the saw,
Cuts the table in half,
Pushes the halves together,
Two Halves make a whole,
He jumps through the hole and escapes.

It works better when you say it aloud.

Captainguy42:

Yes, quite. Alright my jolly good fellow, you have bested my simple riddle. I bequeath from you a riddle for others to answer!

Alright, I actually plan on using this for a D&D game, so I'm interested in seeing how easy or hard it is:

A wondrous treasure,
Valued by all, sought by many.
Found in both victory and defeat,
Yet never at the bottom of a treasure chest.
It marches before you like a herald,
And lives long after you are gone.
Of what do I speak?

The future, or time in general.

Is it soul, I have no clue :)

your reputation

I like that one.
