If you’ve climbed the ranked ladder and reached the Infinite Rank to claim your golden card back, you’re likely keen on hopping into Conquest mode. Here are the best Conquest decks in Marvel Snap.
How Conquest Mode Works in Marvel Snap
For those unfamiliar with Conquest mode, snapping in Conquest no longer nets you Cubes but instead decreases the amount of health wagered; once this reaches zero for either player, the loser is booted out of their tier – Proving Grounds, Silver, Gold, Infinite – and the winner moves on to another battle or another tier, earning tickets to advance. Higher tiers award different amounts of medals, which you can then spend in the specific Conquest shop for mystery variants, titles, resources, and more.
As you can imagine, Conquest plays quite differently than the standard ladder matches. Luckily for you, I’ve played quite a lot of Conquest and have taken plenty of decks all the way through the Infinite tier to earn the coveted Infinity Avatar.
The Best Decks for Conquest in Marvel Snap
Keep in mind that, with the release of new cards every week in Marvel Snap (sometimes two cards), the Conquest meta shifts as quickly as the ranked ladder meta does; that said, there are a few standout decks that always do well in Conquest – feel free to swap out some old cards for new cards to adapt to your own playstyle.
The general rule for Conquest is to not play a deck that relies on a single playline, as you may run into a list that counters you with a single card, such as Mobius M. Mobius or Enchantress.
One of the best decks for Conquest in Marvel Snap is, as you’ve probably guessed, Thanos:
- Psylocke
- Jeff!
- Caiera
- Hope Summers
- Shang-Chi
- Enchantress
- Vision
- Mockingbird
- Blob
- Alioth
- Thanos
- Magneto
The goal of this deck is to maintain initiative through to the final turn of the match, where you’ll then drop one of Blob, Alioth, or Magneto (or Red Hulk if you have him) to win the game. If possible, ramping out an extra 6 drop with Psylocke or Hope Summers will all but ensure victory. In this list, I’ve taken out the likes of Mobius M. Mobius to counter high-powered The Living Tribunal decks that can overwhelm Thanos lists otherwise.

The next deck on this list of best Conquest decks in Marvel Snap centers around Loki. While the card-stealing archetype has lost some of its luster after a handful of nerfs, Loki does great in Conquest, as playing him can allow you to counter your opponent with their own cards, leading to fairly unpredictable win conditions.

Having Loki in your opening hand is a great snap condition with this deck that will leave your opponent uncertain of how you’ll be able to counter them after he’s played. Mockingbird, when drawn late or without Loki played at all, is a great final-turn play alongside Devil Dinosaur. Finally, the inclusion of both Shang-Chi and Enchantress gives you a fighting chance against plenty of other decks.
Finally, both discard and destroy decks do not require a lot of expensive Series 5 cards to compete in Conquest. Below are lists for both:

The additions of Corvus Glaive and Proxima Midnight have rocketed the standard discard list to top-tier status, to the surprise of many. Daken is a flexible card here, as you can swap him out for a tech card such as Mobius M. Mobius to stop opposing Mockingbird plays or a Shang-Chi/Enchantress.

Despite nerfs to enablers of Deadpool, this destroy list is perhaps the cheapest and most consistent deck in the game. You can experiment by swapping Shang-Chi/Enchantress for an Arnim Zola (played on a Knull or Death after a boost from X-23) or Nimrod to further trip your opponent up.
With any of the above four decks, you should spend some time in the Training Grounds getting to know when to snap/retreat while farming Silver Tickets. I also highly recommend experimenting by swapping in your favorite cards, as surprising your opponent, especially tech cards, can lead to quick victories and massive come-from-behind wins.
