Xen0n:

Thats song is so awesome, i just watched the video like five times last night, funny that you would post it.

It's okay, I've not much to say about it. Lyrics aren't anything special.

michiehoward:

That was incredible. Really good, I think I am going to listen to this on Youtube!

I had a hard time choosing what to post, as I have a wide taste and like many forms for music.
But in the end I decided to drop the metal, the rock, the jazz and just post this.

michiehoward:
A little to hard for me, did I say a little, I mean alot.

The song itself was good, and I'll buy that it could all be played on the one guitar at the same time, but it's a litle gimmicky for that.

I liked it though.

You could have at least posted another song... I liked your 'Behind Enemy Lines' contribution though. Fast, angry and heavy. The vocals seem to be a little slow for the rest of the music though....

That's awesome. 5 people playing one guitar? Yes please.

Here's my offering. As always, it's my go-to musician for most song-related threads.

EDIT: Escapist, Y U MAKE ME LOOK LIKE IDIOT!?

Sorry for being late. I couldn't understand why my quotes and spoiler tag wasn't working in the preview...apparaently it was because I had missed one tiny quotation mark...silly me >.>

Like songs where the strings are heavy. Nice.

Truniron:

I have no idea what was being said in that song but I enjoyed it. If it had been any longer, I think I would have got bored though...

Eh, can't say I liked it. Riffs didn't appeal to me and the vocals got irritating after 10 seconds.

Cool, sounds like Incantation.

Here's mine!

Chased:

Okay, that was pretty damn good, vocals sounded a bit like Tom Waits. I think Graveyard might have a new fan.

Also, because this song needs to be heard

And if you ain't into the MySpace collection, try a little bit of that White Flame.

God Damn Based God

Those were... terrible haha. I'm assuming that was the point. I mean oh my God I HOPE that was the point hahaha.

Here: I didn't want to pick something with millions of views, but this song is pretty good and the video is amazing.

WHY HAVEN'T I HEARD OF THIS BEFORE?
No really, thank you, this was really good. Now I need to listen to the rest of their songs...

And I have to post this one now, its a truly epic song. I am so sorry for the quality, but there isn't a good quality version of the song on Youtube.

Always enjoyed Black Sabbath.

Call me a sucker for a good spoof.

EDIT: If you can't smile and laugh at that song you may very well have some personal issues you need to work out.

Pretty badass, not big on the vocals though. I will add this to the floor

TLS14:

Got an enjoyable beat to it, shame though I don't understand the lyrics.

I'm not really a fan of the Red Hot Chili Peppers but this is one of their songs I actually really like the feel of.

My turn now!

Not my favorite Red Hot Chili Peppers song, but still pretty good. I remember hearing it so many times on the radio when I was little. :)

EDIT: Darn, ninja'd. Well to the above user, the song is pretty good. Although I have a feeling I'd appreciate it a bit more if I watched the anime it was from.

Amazing, and here i thought of posting a FLCL song myself. Tho there is quite a lot to pick from in my opinion, it had so many great songs.
And about this particular song: i like it, it instantly makes me tap my feet on the ground, tho i liked hybrid rainbow a bit more.
EDIT: Damn, someone posted another song when i was writing my post. Might as well comment on that one: Didn`t know the song was made by U2, but i recognized it pretty damn fast, and of course i like it!
Here`s something random, i suppose. Tho i never get tired of this song, it`s just so damn catchy.

Fuuu....the forum is too slow me actually participating in this topic for now. I'll join in later.

scorptatious:

Ah. U2. Always good. Except for Vertigo. :3

A long one, but if you've got the time, I challenge you not to like it:

ETA: Sorry to the person who posted before me. This site loads slowly for me.

Snip (perhaps if more people did that, the page wouldn't take so long to load. XD)

Anyway, yes I did very much enjoy that. :D An eerie, multifaceted, folky/avant-garde track to satiate the prog nerd in me. And while we're posting lengthy magnum opuses of sorts, I'll go with this:

Whateveralot:

Ah. U2. Always good. Except for Vertigo. :3

Wat.

Well, OK, opinions and all that. But Vertigo is still my favourite U2 song.

Also, I think it's a bit unfair to post massive 20-minute songs and expect people to listen to all of them before pronouncing judgement. I like lengthy songs, and have several on my iTunes (Echoes <3), but this is a thread where people are eager to get their own songs out there for people to listen to.

With that in mind:

Mozza444:

...Sorry, don't like it. Trying too hard to be gangsta.

Now I feel bad for posting this song, seeing as it is 12 minutes+, but right now I have been listening to the album its from on repeat all day, and this is one of my favorite songs of all time!

Even if I'm not really into rock I have to say. The overall sound is pretty solid. Can't really say that I like the "Beggining of the end" phrase that he sings all over... But the rest of the tune is pretty good.
+1 for great percussion.
