Jael looked at the kid with a certain amount of admiration. He'd just had the living shit scared out of him multiple times, but he kept getting right back up. "Hey kid," she said, "what's your name?"

Tsurugi also looks at the kid in admiration. He had seen enough people that kid's age pee themselves at the first sign of danger and here this one was volunteering to go into a damaged APC that could still have someone alive in it to open the door for the rest of them.

Mark stirred and he immediately stopped, he ripped off the old pair of tinted goggles that were now destroyed and replaced them with the last of his spares. He stood shakely to his feet and said quietly, "I hate fucking epilepsy" he grabbed his G36 and put it on his shoulder he leaned against one of the trees and looked at the APC.

That could become a real problem, Jael thought. He went down in the fight but we were able to take care of the situation, but we might not be so lucky next time.

"Hey you! Sorry, don't know your name, but do you have any medication to control that? I doubt there's an unlooted pharmacy within a hundred miles of here, but if it's not an antibiotic or a painkiller, just maybe there will be some of what you need still on the shelf."

"My name is Thomas"

He was staring at five diffrent computer screens at any diffrent moment. Right now, it was his job to watch over the recon around the incident. He had been chosen for this because of his low pain-tolerance and his high information proccesing abilities, but he was beginning to think he got the short end of the stick. His attention was focused mainly on the recon team. They had just reported contact in sector D-811. As he watched he could see from the safety of his bunker each man falling one by one. Only one showed vital signs now, Squad Leader Gage. He wouldn't last. No other teams were close enough to make it to the scene. His pulse was dropping by the second. Radio crackled through on his linked speaker. "Squad down. WHITEWASH." That was his signal to do the only real thing he could besides direct the team. He swiveled his chair around to the other instrument panel. He flipped multiple switches and levers, then opened the command box on his screen while talking through his microphone. "We have situation WHITEWASH. Teams clear the area from sector D-811." He typed in the code for the strike. The female computer voice echoed his efforts. "CODENAME WHITEWASH ACTIVATED. SELECT TARGET." He went to the other screen and clicked on the APC with his mouse. "TARGET ACCEPTED. FIRING." He rested in his chair and let out a sigh. His job was done.

The orbiting satellite dropped down for it's orders. The machinery made no noise as it moved and shifted into position. In perfect concert, the satellite dropped a small tungsten alloy cone as soon as it hit it's coordinates. After which, it rose back into it's normal orbit. The hunk of metal fell down into the atmosphere, picking up speed.

"As long as my goggles are fine I will not have another seizure, I have the worst kind of epilepsy" Mark said while he walked over to the jeep he put his rifle in his right hand and made sure he had a fresh magazine before deciding to sit in the back looking through everything for food.

"So you are saying that your goggles hold off the epilepsy?" He hears a faint whistling sound from above and looks up. He shields his eyes from the sun but doesn't see anything, must have just been the wind. "I don't think we should just hang around here talking. That squad had comms I bet and they wouldn't have sat there and told no one what was happening."

"They don't hold it off its just like sun glasses they block most of the light, which for some reason triggers one of my attacks" Mark said as he mentally cursed he could not find any food. "Does anyone have food, that is not poisonous?"

"We need to get out of here," said Jael. "We need to go find food and I don't think we can stay at that farmhouse with all this action so close by, which also means we need to find shelter and clean water. Are we going to be able to get that jeep working or can we take this thing--" she waved at the APC, "--or do we walk?"

"I say some of us ahahahahahhahahhahah field strip the dead soldiers, ahahahahahha out their clothes on and roll through in the ahahahhahahahahhahahahhahahhhAPC."

Jael looked at the soldiers and then back at the crazy old man. "You mean disguise ourselves as them? It might work as long as no one gets close enough to see the bloody bullet-holes in our uniforms."

The tungsten cone screamed towards the target, superheating in the process. The metal glows as bright as a shooting star as it heads towards it's coordinates.

Thomas wades through the applesauce and gore and unlocks the APC's back door, letting the heavy steel swing open and slam onto the ground. The man carries the woman into the car and sets her down on two of the infantry seats clearing them first of the debris. The man steps back out and says "They have trackers in the people most of the time, we just need to get out of here before more of these fucks get here." to everyone. He looks to the sky as something catches his eye. A small red glow was barely visible through the clouds above. "They're wipin' the entire area! Get in the car!" The man motions to the open door with his hand. Whatever is coming from that far up can't be good.

Tsurugi hears the whistling sound again and looks up to see the red colour of the nuke. He hears the man yell behind him. "They're wipin' the entire area! Get in the car!" "Oh shit! Everybody in, lets go before we are all vaporized!" He runs up the ramp into the APC waving his hand for the others to follow and then takes a seat inside of the APC.

There is a glowing thing in the sky. That is never a good thing, in Jael's experience. She throws herself into the unfamiliar vehicle. "What do we do?" she yells.

Thomas was shocked, he have seen bodies in the past,the war made it something almost usual for him, but not this time, this time it was different, might be the smell of applesauce and gore. He managed to open the door but that, but that was is. Pale and frozen, the shouts sounded distant and echo in his head, he stood in the APC, and stuck on his place

Sorry came double

Alex, despite having developed quite a headache from blowing something up beside him, was feeling quite proud to have helped the people he was traveling. Those warm feelings completely dried up when he found out what was coming their way. Soldiers they could deal with, but orbital bombardment? Not a chance. The only thing they could really do was run, and that seemed to be the plan. Realizing that their jeep was finished, he climbed into the back of the APC with the others.

Mark ran into the APC and went straight to the drivers seat, "Thank god for the Army" Mark said as he looked for the keys or ignition, it has been three years since he has driven one of these so their might be kinks to work out, he finds it after a few seconds and he waits until everyone is to gun it as he had seen what the orbital bombardment did to everything within a mile of the impact site, he shivered at the thought of what those did. "Know I would advise you to buckle in as I am a little rusty, so if you comment on my driving I will stop this and let us all be killed" Mark said while counting the seconds until that shell hit the ground.

Jael stared at Mark. He just been shot in the face, saved only by his goggles. The impact of that alone should have concussed him. Then he'd had a seizure, and then been knocked out cold, and now he was bouncing around ready to drive? As they said in the army, Whiskey Tango Foxtrot? Either the guy's brain was made of rubber or they had better strap down for more than him just being rusty at the wheel.

"You sure you're ok to drive? Maybe we should have the jeep guy drive it."

Mark looks seriously at Jael, "Does he have military experience behind him? Also unless you want to be part of a crater I would tell your friends to get in here now!" Mark then looked outside and planned a route out of the orchard as fast as this thing would go. Mark then rubbed his head and felt he had a sizable lump, "Alright, who hit me on the head?"

"Awwwww, let the youngster drive," said Pete climbing in "You ahahhahahahaahhahaha only got one life to live you may as well ahahahhahahahahhahahahah live it fast." He finishes his sentence and begins to open a can of applesauce.
"NO!" is the unanimous call of the group.
Nothing happens and Pete takes out a dirty spoon covered in hair that didn't look like it came from his head, dips it in the applesauce and begins to eat.

"Next time you give a soldier the chance to shoot you in the head like that, you are going to have more then just a lump. I have been a mercenary for quite awhile and from what I can see that old man does have military experience or has at least been fighting the Durst long enough to know what he is doing. He got us out of a lot of tight spots with that jeep of his. From what I have seen, he is the one who seems to have more experience then you." Tsurugi rests his gun on his lap while glaring at Mark. This man had come out of nowhere and almost got himself not to mention everyone who tried to help him killed and he just assumed he could jump in and take control. He had seen men like that before, and they usually didn't last long out here.

"You know, given the fact that he saved all our asses and his girlfriend killed a helicopter, I'm thinking maybe he does have a wee bit of military training. What he doesn't have is a likely concussion. But that doesn't matter now." She turned and yelled to everyone else, "C'mon! Get in unless you wanna die!" Looking back at Mark, she growled, "You'd better be as good as you say you are. If you get us all killed, I'm going to spend the rest of eternity kicking your ass from heaven to hell and back again."

Editted, now I was not actually going to post that but damn I did not expect those reactions, and to clarify it was in Tsurugi's post so that is what I was talking about I knew pete's age that was fine but Tsurugi's was not.

As he steps into the back of the APC, trying to visualize the streak of molten fire hurtling toward them he sees that there is some kind of confrontation between Tsurugi and the new guy. From the looks of it these two were about to fight despite the circumstances. After loudly clearing his throat, he says, "Hey, fellas? I know I'm probably interrupting something, but I think the orbital shell that's going to vaporize us in thirty seconds or so takes a tiny bit more precedence then this military pissing contest. Now can somebody please sit in that driver's seat and get us out of here, like right this second." The words came out quickly, too fast for Alex to think of any repercussions they may cause. But at the moment he was infinitely more worried about was about what was at the moment surely going to happen to them then what these two soldiers might do to the kid trying to tell them what to do in the future.

"Well fine, be a spoil sport," Pete says as he climbs into the driver seat, then mumbles under his breath: "F***ing kids, I wanted to see some blood! Alright, ahahahhahhahahha hang on!" Pete shouts as he turns on the APC and begins to pick up speed at a high pace.
"YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEHHHHHHHHHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!!!"
