In one small town in northen California, if you are bored of the music of 'Weird Al' Yankovic, you can be pronounced legally dead.

Could you (or someone) tell me where you got that information, or atleast the name of the town or something, because I couldn't find it in a search. Unless you were lieing.

There is no law that makes blowing up a nuclear bomb a crime. This is because everyone figured that no one would actually be stupid enough to detonate one.

Once, entire Netherlands was condemned to death by The Spanish Inquisition for hearsay.
To make it clear, around those times that where 13 million people.

Also, the order was given roughly 10 miles from my home.

And Cor, there is, seeing that that is considered terrorism, I think it is illegal.

True, but I think it might have been referring to just blowing one up in a stockpile. Of course, it was a while back that I saw this law, so i might've been (slightly) mistaken.

I've also heard that in Colorado, it's illegal to throw a missile at a car. Not shoot a missile at a car, throw a missile with your bare hands at a car.

Although there are stipulations by the UN regarding Disturbing World Order and/or Peace.

Our local star Sol's gravity affects a volume in the shape of a sphere 4 lightyears in radius.

The Chernobyl Inncident was not a Nuclear Melt-Down, but a cooling system failure that resulted in a Steam explosion blowing the reactor core open. Additionally, none of the nuclear fallout was Uranium. Uranium is the fuel in Reactors, and decays into other hazardous isotopes of other elements, such as Krypton, Heavy Iodine, Potassium, Bismuth & Antimony. Currently the most present radioisotope in the Zone of Alienation is Cesium-137.

Seriously, wasn't someone put on probation for mentioning the state of glass? Everyone got real sick of it real fast.

The mentioning of the state of glass is really, really, really annoying.

I don't know if these have been said, but:
>Superman is one of the leading causes of the KKK's decline in the 40s/50s

>In 1933, Prescot Bush (George Bush Sr.'s dad), the DuPont family, and the heads of Chase Bank, GM, Goodyear, and Standard Oil plotted to lead a military coup to create a facist dictator ship in the US. They failed when the general that was to supply the army sold them out.

(Maybe not so oblivious, but what the hell..)
Men who masturbate have a decreased chance in receiving prostate cancer.

The japanese translation for merry-go-round means, in literal context,"pony toy go round".

In SW: Republic Commando, the sound of the Trandoshans walking was produced by hitting two halves of a pine-apple against a board of wood.

The two movies to receive a 1 on metacritic, the lowest possible rating, are "The singing forest" and "Bio-dome"

For those oblivious to Lesbos, it was an island that, in ancient times, was dominated by only females. The only way to, uh, reproduce was when Minoan sailors stopped by. And nine months later, A child came along. The Females-only "policy" was so strict, however, that if the baby was a boy, he would be killed, most likely by being hurled off a cliff.

Zirconium is a ceramic material that can be made into a blade sharper than, stronger than, and lighter than steel blades. Unfortunately, I don't know about how flexible it is as it is mostly used in cooking knives. However, should it be proved to be at least be flexible enough to not break at after six blows, I am going to find a way to get myself a custom Zirconia sword, as it would defeat metal detectors.
To be fair, it's Zirconium Oxide that's made into a blade, not just Zirconium itself which is a brittle, powdery substance.

You, Sir, are a hero.

But anyway:
- Indonesia has more active volcanoes than any other country.
- The 1st bomb dropped on Berlin in WWII killed the only elephant in Berlin zoo.
- Google has catalogued over one trillion web pages.
- Every cruise liner has it's own on-board Morgue.
- The third brake light in your car's rear window is called a chimsil.
- Aircraft oxygen systems have only 12 minutes worth of reserves.
- The maximum speed of revolving doors in NY is 15 turns per minute.
- 1086 Subaru Impreza's were used to spell out Colin McRae's name in a recent memorial.

There, some randomness blown out for the night.

Most of this has probably been said at one time or another, but...

Tanks are buoyant.

Plywood is very strong. Roman shields used to have plywood covers on the front to improve their durability and Germany used plywood to support tanks during transportation by air.

Germany had a space program during World War II. It involved things like the "Death mirror space station" and the "Space Bomber".

The first modern machine gun was made by a man named Gattling, but repeater weapons were in use since the 2nd and 3d centuries.

The Germans made the first assault rifle - the STG44. It is the only weapon to appear in every Call of Duty game to date.

These are the trains with the greatest amount of wheels ever:

The Milwaukee Railroad EP-2 Bi-Polar Engine. One of the more powerful pantograph engines ever made. A famous photo exists of the electric train having a tug-of-war with two equivalent size steam locomotives with their throttle valves open wide over a bridge, and it won in less than a minute. In AAR Notation, it is a 1B-D+D-B1. Thats 14 axels.

Built by the Baldwin Engine Company for the Virginia Railroad, this was the experimental Triplex Mallet 2-8-8-8-4, or 16 axels. Due to having 6 cylinders, it could easily consume more steam than the boiler could produce in one cycle, so it couldnt go faster than 8km/h. When it was scrapped, it was rebuilt into two more engines, a 2-8-8-0 and a 2-8-2.

Some would argue the relativity theory was advanced by Ruđer Bošković over 200 years before Einstein published it. Nikolai Tesla stated this as a fact. They were countrymen, and he has said Ruđer Bošković, the "great philosopher" (in his words), "wrote a thousand volumes of excellent literature on a vast variety of subjects".
This from the man who was on his way of developing a "teleforce" weapon that could "send concentrated beams of particles through the free air, of such tremendous energy that they will bring down a fleet of 10,000 enemy airplanes at a distance of 200 miles from a defending nation's border and will cause armies to drop dead in their tracks."
