How about this... The winner gets to LIVE! Just to reiterate: in 1500 words EXACTLY tell me who the greatest Sith Lord of all time is, what they did that inspired such awe in you, how you attempted to follow in their footsteps, how they have inspired you, and why I should choose you to be my apprentice. The story was the closest to the way it should have played out, as well as having the most use of your new skills
The story was pretty close to accurate, as well as highly entertaining. (The Ford joke definitely earned you more points.)
Not bad, but seemed a little... Off. The whole lost in the mountains thing just worked against you. It made no sense, and wasn't very interesting.
Your rapid fire approach to completing the challenges left a whole hell of a lot to be desired. The story was way too short and uninspired. You can still make up ground with the final challenges as you have two left, and the final challenge is worth over 50 points... Johnn Johnston: Sith Avatar: 8, First Writing Entry: 8, Second Writing Entry: 10, Lightsaber Design: 10, Third Writing Entry: 9 TOTAL POINTS: 45 Also, I am missing a Lightsaber hilt from both Higurashi and Ninja Skillz. I think you will still find that it is anyone's battle. I want the essays done by this time next week though. User was banned for: Ipod Saves Girl's Life. (Permanent) |

Who do you think stands the greatest chance at becoming my apprentice in your place?" Looking thoughtful for a long while, Empyrean finally replies, "I do not know Master Mobius. That is not for me to say. We shall find out when the challenges are over." Darth Mobius chuckles at her evasive reply and loops his arm around her a bit more to allow his hand to rest on her stomach. With the two of them standing side by side, the pair fall silent, watching the screens as they watch the four attempt for the position of Apprentice to the Dark Lord himself. Keeping Darth Mobius' hand on her stomach, Empyrean shifted enough to glance back at the computer behind her, a brow arching as she watches the screen flash up the scores for the most recently graded task. Higurashi passed with blazing colors, and John Johnston wasn't far behind him. But it was the total points that caught her eye the quickest. John Johnston was in first, but Fish Food Carl wasn't far behind him. As if reading her thoughts, Darth Mobius spoke again. "It will be interesting to see how Higurashi does on his Lightsaber. He is less then Ten points behind John Johnston." Empyrean nodded her head, and once more before she could reply, the Dark Lord spoke again. "I was hoping for more effort from Ninja Skills. As I am sure you were as well." Empyrean said nothing but the look on her face was one of agreement. "If he had put more effort into his tasks, and actually attempted them like the rest, I do not doubt that he could have been in the top three. So far, it is close." Nothing is said further on the issue, because just then a soft whispered "Daddy?" rose from a small huddled form nearby. Darth Mobius' daughter had woken from her sleep and sat up drowsily from where she'd curled up under her fathers cloak. Darth Mobius released his Fiancee effectively, but not rudely, dismissing her. Leaving her Master to tend to his daughter, Empyrean slips down to the quarters of the trainees, trying to find one who is practicing. They should be competent by now to have progressed from the sting shots to the numbing bolts if not to the actual laser shots. If they had, she was hoping to catch one of them practicing. The main sitting lounge was empty, and so the Dark Lady of the Sith contented herself with finding one of them, intent on having him show her if he has mastered his blade as of yet. A major flaw - you have yet to see Higu's lightsaber design, and yet you have graded ours. No matter what he does, he gets a nine. Shouldn't you have waited until after you had received his design to grade ours. Not that it matters intensely to me (as my lazy approach might betray), but it irritates me. You were the one who pressed hardest to see grades. If you did not like the way I arbitrarily rated the three entries until Higurashi could add his, you should not have pushed so hard for me to grade your entries prematurely. That is the only reason I did so. Someone (I think it was you, but may have been someone else) Specifically asked for me to submit interim grades. I am sorry to see you go, but if you are upset about the way I grade, you have no one to blame but yourself. ~Darth Mobius User was banned for: Poll: Why is it that.... (Permanent) |

Upset? Pushing it there mate. I may have mentioned the same thing to you, about the grading system, I merely thought it a tad redundant, grading some apprentices without even seeing one of the entries. Gone Gonzo Posts: 2141 Joined: 23 Jan 2008 | greatest sith lord of all time... Stargazer sat in his private quarters, pondering the newest assignment. It was quite the change to go from the recent mission to this, something that seemed like academy work. But, such things are also of outmost importance naturally. If nothing else, he needed the rest and a slowing of pace right now. At his table he sat with quill and papers, the form of writing he enjoyed the most. It stimulated his creativity, and presented a feeling of authenticity. He would have to ponder on this some more, but he knew who he would write of. If Lord Mobius had been around longer, he could have been a candidate to run up for Lord Krayt, but right now, this was the one who remained the ethereal avatar of power on Stargazer's light-grey mental curtain. Pleased with his endeavour, Higurashi put his quill down and dedicated himself to meditation on the floor. It had been too long, and he needed it. As he closed his eyes and cleared his mind, something seemed not quite the same. He somehow saw... colours, tastes and smells filling the air, not around him, but simply filling the existence. He was not even there, not even present. A feeling of warmth overcame his spirit, and he realised he was grasping at that unknown substance again. It was just so natural. It was as if he absorbed it into himself, but... he must not be greedy. If he was, it would be his downfall. Something told him this, and a certain strain begun growing as he grasped and grappled at the flowing river of ethereal warmth. Before the effort would explode his mind, he opened his eyes and resumed perceiving the corporeal world. Standing, he felt invigorated beyond measure, his entire body itching with imprisoned energy. Still tired though, he went to bed to get some much needed rest. |
Gone Gonzo Posts: 1370 Joined: 5 Jul 2008 | Want to know what I forgot about, the Sith title. I vote for Maelstrom. It is my firm belief that greatest is a subjective term. But if I had to choose in terms of great things, I would choose Darth Sidious. I think this because he has done many great things. He has cheated death countless times, he conquered the galaxy through fooling & killing most of the Jedi, killed the creator of the Vaapad Style, Mace Windu, and he even converted two of the most powerful Jedi of all time to the Dark Side, Anikan & Luke Skywalker. But if I had to choose in just sheer awesomeness, I would choose Lord Vader because he is just awesome. How I tried to be like them, lets see. I...killed...Jar-Jar.Yeah, that's right, I killed him. The universe's greatest annoyance gone. Don't get how the Battle Droids weren't able to kill him. Ahhhhhh, you should have heard him and his family scream when he got killed. *Enjoys memory for fifteen minutes* Wait...what was I talking about again? Oh yes the essay. How have they inspired me. They've inspired me by trying to invent new ways to use the force. Like combining saber attacks with force lightning, making lightning bombs, trying to make force fire (not working by the way), making saber slashes more powerful, I'm even attempting to come up with a saber style of my own. Why I think you should pick me as your apprentice? I don't know. I joined this to have some fun. And if I get chosen to be your apprentice, well I guess that's just a bonus for me. But if I had to choose some traits about me I would have to say that I'm creative (especially with an art program or Flash MX), determined, I can't rap worth shit so I can make you look better by comparison, loyal, can make things out of hemp, willing to learn more about the Force. |
BANNED Posts: 5167 Joined: 26 Feb 2008 | How I would have rescued Danika" I stood on the bridge of my flagship, the Ragnarök, as my fleet came out of hyperspace. 24 glorious Star Destroyers, all painted a glistening gold, escorting my three Executor class Super Star Destroyers, as well as two Interdictor Cruisers. Many people would assume that a fleet this big was overkill when the mission was simply the elimination of one person. They are probably right, but it is impossible to beat the jaw dropping entrance a fleet this big makes when you want to intimidate someone. And I was trying to intimidate someone. I knew she would never come out and face me in a spectacular fleet battle, for as conniving and manipulative as she was, I was more cunning in battle than she could ever be. Not to mention that her paltry fleet of three Dreadnaught cruisers was no match for two of my most underpowered escort cruisers. No, this was going to be a duel of the wits and the blade, and I had a distinct advantage. I was, after all, the man who had trained her in the lightsaber arts, and if she thought I had taught her everything I knew, she was deadly mistaken. My personal ship, a solid gold plated Lambda shuttle with quantum crystalline armor, was waiting in the main hangar. As I strapped myself in, I began my preflight checks. There is nothing more relaxing to me than a good flight, and I certainly wasn't going to bring another innocent life into this battle. Darth Galvanic's power of corruption and manipulation was the worst I had ever faced. I engaged the shuttle's repulsorlift drives and backed quickly out of the hangar bay. I flicked the switch that lowered the wings and engaged my main drives as I descended towards the planet. I was still well above the sound barrier as I screamed over the town of Bloomington, Indiana. I could see the shockwave rippling behind me as I buzzed the town, shattering windows and eardrums with equal disdain. If she couldn't feel me coming by now, she never would. I switched the shuttle from main drives to repulsors again, slowing the shuttle to a nearly sedate 300 kilometers per hour. I stretched out with my senses, searching for that little patch of fear and loathing in the force. In the end, it wasn't her hatred of my me that gave her away, but her boyfriends fear for his life. I settled the shuttle down on it's landing gear in the trailer park where I had sensed them, taking my time to properly shut down the engines before unstrapping from my seat and lowering the boarding ramp. I unhooked my orange lightsaber from my belt and prepared for the ambush I could sense she had waiting for me. I dove out of the shuttle with my head tucked between my arms in a quick roll. I felt a hail of blaster fire start ricocheting off the shuttle once I was clear. Obviously, their reaction times weren't the best. I ignited my blade and began deflecting blaster bolts back at the men who were aiming at me. It was quick work to dispatch of them, but I took my time, using their inaccurate fire to warm up as I hadn't while aboard my ship. After about 30 seconds, I grew bored and somersaulted over their heads, turning their own blasters on each other. Darth Galvanic stood there, her fat face a glare as I turned toward her. "Ah, long time no see. Put on a bit of weight I see," I said as I dipped my head in a sarcastic show of cordiality. Her glare would have frozen the hearts of lesser beings. I was used to it. We had been married for over two years, after all. Her face froze as she took me in. I had obviously lost a bit of weight since she had last seen me, and it showed in my rippling biceps as I stood there with my lightsaber in hand. " You are in much better shape than I remembered. You look good." I knew her flattery was simply an attempt to manipulate me into not killing her, but it wouldn't work. Not this time, anyway. "Where's Danika?" I growled at her. This vendetta was about more than my daughter, but she was the most important part of the vendetta. "She is somewhere safe, somewhere YOU can never see her! If anything happens to me, you will never find her." Well, so much for that idea... I lunged at her with my lightsaber, the brilliant orange blade creating a cascade of orange aimed directly at her face. She ignited her red lightsaber just in time to catch my blade inches from her face. Her eyes went wide as she realized I had been holding my orange blade in my left hand, and suddenly a deep purplish blue blade ignited in my right hand, swinging over her head to chop it in half. She backed away as quickly as possible, simply trying to buy herself some time and space. I let her have it because I knew what she intended. I flipped into a reverse cart-wheel and landed beside her trailer. I drove my blade deep into the aluminum wall of the trailer and carved a giant hole in the side. Her boyfriend, who had been leaning against the wall trying to line up a shot with a rifle on me, fell through the hole at my feet. I picked him up by his scrawny little neck and started laughing. "Ah Brittany, you always had such great taste." Troy started begging and groveling for me not to kill him. "I see why you like him now. He has no back bone to stand up to you. It must be true love, then." I released my grip on him with my hands, but he floated there in the air still. As he realized what was happening, his eyes grew even wider in fear. "Where is my daughter?" I asked calmly. "Don't tell him anything, he won't hurt you!" Brittany called from across the trailer park. "I wouldn't believe her, she doesn't know me as well as she thought she did." With that I twitched a finger at him and his left hand exploded in agony as his five fingers suddenly went from 15 joints to 25. He screamed in agony, unable to deal with such a large amount of pain. I watched Brittany's face as I did it, and realized she was squeamish. "Having a hard time watching me torture your man-toy, sweetheart?" I asked as Troy's screams of pain subsided into subdued sobs. "Just tell me where Danika is, and I will leave him alone." "No you won't. You will just kill him, and then me. I will never tell you anything." "I didn't expect you to. But I have seen his inner strength, and he will talk." I twitched my finger again and now he had three elbows. "Where is Danika?" "Out with it you pansy motherfucker, where is my daughter?" "Ta... Me," He finally managed to stutter out. "Tammie? Ah, my mother in law." I turned to Brittany as her boyfriends ear began to drip blood. "Did you really think your Mother could keep Danika from me? You must be dumber than I thought." I tossed Troy to the side as his brain continued to hemorrhage blood from his ear. He lay on the ground whimpering as he clutched his head, unable to withstand the pressure of the blood building in his skull. "And now, my ex-wife, to deal with YOU!" I ignited my lightsabers again, crossing them in an X before my body, orange blade in my left hand, Purplish-blue in my right. She lunged at me with all of the speed her stubby little legs could manage. For a short, fat, person, she could run pretty fast. Of course, when I leapt five feet over her head, there was little she could do to stop herself from running. I came down right behind her and cut across her ankle. She fell to the ground in a heap. I picked her up in the force, holding her up about a foot off the ground. She stared at me with a look of fear and despair on her face. I felt the shot coming less than a second before the muzzle flashed. I spun out of the way of the shot, and heard the cry of anguish as Brittany was tossed to the ground. I reached out and pulled the trailer down on top of Troy, knowing without looking that his shot had taken her in the chest. "Better than either of you deserve," I said as I strode back to my shuttle, leaving them for dead. My shuttle seemed to fly itself as I made my way towards my ex-mother-in-law's house. I hadn't seen her in months, and my ex had done everything she could to make sure that we hadn't been on good terms. Not that it would matter for much longer, anyway... My shuttle settled to the ground in a puff of thruster wash, and I strode casually from it. I knocked on the door, and stood waiting patiently as I heard someone come to the door. My ex's Step-Father opened the door and asked me in a gruff voice, "What can I do for you?" I smiled politely. "Bring Danika to me." He called out to her and she came padding to the door softly. When she saw me, her face lit up and she cried out in joy, "Daddy!" She ran to me and jumped up into my arms. "Can I, daddy? Can I, please? I smiled at her softly, "Of course you can sweetheart. Are you ready to go?" "I just need to put my shoes on!" As she ran off to put her shoes and gather some of the essentials any almost three year old always needs, her Step-Grandfather turned to me. "Do you have permission to take her?" "Of course, her mother won't stop me, especially not today." Danika came up and took my hand. "Let's go Daddy." I turned my back to the house and walked away. Suddenly the phone rang. I continued walking away casually, but I knew something was wrong, because I could sense the sudden panic in the house. I put Danika safely in the seat of the shuttle, secured her restraints, and lifted off without looking down at the woman who had come out of the house, screaming for me to stop. I accelerated rapidly out of the atmosphere and hailed my fleet. "Designate positions Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, Delta, and Omega 1. Protocol Sigma 7 is in effect. You may proceed when ready." As my shuttle ascended towards my fleet, a hail of blaster fire descended towards the planet. The state of Indiana was encompassed in a fiery explosion that rivaled a Nuclear Blast for power. In fact, that was what newspapers would claim had happened. A meltdown at one of the nuclear facilities caused a reactor to go critical and immolate the entire state. Danika looked at me quizzically as she saw the turbolaser blasts pass by. "Daddy, do I have to go back and live with mommy? You love me more and treat me better than she does, and I don't like Troy." "No sweetie, you will be living with me now. How does that sound?" "Good. I love you daddy!" User was banned for: Ipod Saves Girl's Life. (Permanent) |

Gone Gonzo Posts: 2141 Joined: 23 Jan 2008 | ..are not the one.. ..of no use.. NO! Forcefully swinging before him, Higurashi sat up in his bed. He was sweating and panting, and his hand hurt from hitting the wall with all his might. He put his face in the palm of his hands and tried to make sense of the visions he received. Suddenly, a burning sensation grabs a hold of his body in a steel grip. Gasping in panic, he kneels on the floor. His mind is filled with undistinguishable patterns caught on his retina even as he opened his eyes wide in shock. Slowly, it fades away and he regains control of his body and senses. A slight feeling of sapphire flame remained on the outside of his skin as he stands. At least he was wide awake now, but he wondered when the symptoms of this transition would cease. He felt empowered, and proceeded to try his body suit out for the first time. It fit perfectly, and allowed for maximum agility. Connecting Azrael to the small belt, he made his way from his chambers to the training grounds. He took notice of Darth Empyrean being here, as she was observing another apprentice. Activating his old remote, he begun training. His lance felt completely natural, flowing in his hands just like his mind would flow with unparalleled focus. He fell into a trance of fluid movement, thinking only of the control of his limbs and the position of the remote. There was freedom in the liberating qualities of training, and he had always used them for refuge. In his younger years, he was forced to cut down on his training, as he was too far ahead of the others of the same age, and because he would train much to hard much to often. A few times, he came close to damaging his own body from overworking even as he had not even entered adolescence. In the flow, this was his truly natural state of being. He didn't even notice the difference as the remote began swirling around at full speed and firing stun shots. He was swinging and twirling his lance, side-stepping, ducking and dodging as he saw every shot coming. Close to hitting him in the back, he swirled his lance behind his back to deflect it expertly, spun around, grabbed it in one hand and spun it to deflect a barrage coming from above only to duck and block another with his palm through the use of the force, and slice the remote in two with his other hand that held his lance, would it be that it emitted anything more but light. As he continued, he felt he had mastered this part of the training. Most of all, he would like to go up against more of the living, or at least combat droids, but as it was he contemplated to move up to the actual laser blasts. He felt so very good, and smiled as he ducked low once more. |
BANNED Posts: 1590 Joined: 5 May 2008 | Darth Empyrean shifted her gaze from the lifeless form in front of her to the sounds of blaster bolts echoing from close by. Higurashi stood in the midst of a battle like trance, and his effortless parries with his blade made her brow arch in mild amazement. He'd become good. Leaving the apprentice that she'd been hoping to criticize, Empyrean made her way over to stand near Higurashi's training space. The remote had long since left the stun bolts behind, but she doubts Higurashi has noticed the change. Not one has hit him. Standing there near the droids outer ring, and just behind Higurashi, Darth Empyrean absently strokes the mild bulge of her stomach, a soft smile on her face as the little one within her flutters at her touch. As the Remote Droid came around behind Higurashi, Empyrean prepared to intervene, knowing that one shot from the Droid could lay him out in a Bacta tank for several hours. Those blaster bolts hurt on a good day, and on the setting they were on now, they would blow a hole right through him. Her caution was unneeded. Effortlessly, Calmly, Higurashi deflected the bolts and continued his dance with the droid. "Very good Higurashi. You have quite the talent with your lance." Darth Empyrean's voice must have startled Higurashi, but if it had, he gave no sign of it. Instead she watched him turn, saw the slight bow of his head in recognition of her status of Dark Lady of the Sith. Behind him the droid dropped from the air to hover inches from the ground. "Tell me Higurashi, what made you decide to pick the Lance instead of a normal Lightsaber?" Darth Empyrean walked over to the seat near where Higurashi was training, giving him the option to continue and talk, or just take a while to rest instead. kill anyone you feel is necessary...
The words echoed through Higurashi's head. It had taken months to complete his extremely complicated Lightsaber Lance, but he had quite the timing. Just as he was done, another assignment arrived in text to his ship interface. He was going to enjoy this. It had been much too long since he favoured the hunt and the kill.
Holstering his short darksword and putting on new black robes, he got into his ship. This was his most treasured artifact which he had obtained long ago in an unexpected encounter during one of all the tests he had gone through. His new Lightsaber Lance was strapped to his belt, and he smiled with the warm, familiar feeling it instilled in him. It would seem as the white mephite and black pontite Ilum crystals inside the weapon worked together, the spectrum could produce any colour on the blades. Not that he would like any other than black or white. An extra diamond lens across the transmitters allowed the weapon to be used even submerged in liquid, but had a tendency to overpower the blade and focus it into one. But the two crystals could work alternately easier due to this. Through the spectrum of the diamond lens, the blade would be rainbow-coloured under water, but he figured he could bypass this with use of the force.
Now then, his targets were two humans. And what's this... a rescue mission? Interesting. Setting off for Nar Shaddaa as the most likely place to obtain the necessary information, Higurashi was filled with a rare sense of purpose. His shady mental veil of indifference was slightly cast aside, and he was perplexed over this fact. There was only one other thing that could do this to him. Only one thing he had ever lived for that could lift the greyscale of this world.
Exiting hyperspace, he snaps back to reality from the trance he had entered, deep in thought. Shaking it off, he told himself he needed to focus. Descending into the port, he remembered an old "friend" in this place. He would visit him, and he would enjoy it. Oh yes, he would.
Following his instincts, he left the port for the town of Smuggler's Moon. Passing passive people of watery eyes and weakness in the street, he was filled with a sense that it had become a place quite alive with the force. And yet.. so dead to it. Ah, the delicacy of desperate living. This was a new experience to him. It would seem he had indeed a different sense of the force now.
Spotting an old pub his contact always loitered around in, he paced for it. It wouldn't do to keep the mission waiting. The words "Meltdown Café" hung as discreetly as neon writing could over the doorless archway. Keeping a low profile and walking along the wall in his concealing robes as he entered the archway, it was not long before he saw his old acquaintance sitting by the bar. Walking up behind him, he laid a hand gently on his shoulder. He felt the man's nerves twitching slightly, as if he instinctively knew the steely fingers of that scarred hand.
"Stargazer. I would've never thought I'd meet you again."
"Of course. You'd think me dead, wouldn't you. That would be most logical."
"Oh no, not dead. But mayhap... inactive. Nothing could get the best of you, as far as I know."
"Then you are wise. Thusly, I know you also will assist me in a matter." Higu said while putting the tip of his index and middle finger in the back of the man.
The man stiffened a bit and improved his posture.
"Naturally, old friend. Naturally. Let's go some place more private." The man got up and, not looking at Higu, put his arm around him and walked him to one of the small rooms for rent.
"Right. Out with it. I don't want to owe you any more." He sat down on a simple wooden chair. His attire was plain and rugged. Crude, and a bit dirty. He fit in perfectly here, Higu thought. He chuckled quietly at the thought of it.
"Information. Looking for a certain couple. Acquaintances of someone rather important."
"Ah yes. Fools, those people. Karen told me she had last seen them on Rachni street, still here in the Corellian sector. Even dumber."
"So it seems. Thank you, old friend." Higu said with a sarcastic grin. He then got up and was about to leave.
"You know... I wish I could have done something. I kind of miss this. You and I, hunting together."
"Yeah... I have missed a few times, too. But I have other goals in sight now. Big ones... and I will not fail."
"Hah. No, that'd be a first."
With this cryptic exchange, Higu left the seedy place and hurried for the couple's hideout.
He knew the street and got into the alley, careful not to attract attention. Climbing to the roof, he took his robes off, leaving him in black leather. Getting down to a lying position, he crawled slowly forth to observe the house ahead of him. There he lay for a good six hours, keeping his strength up by rations. As the darkness enveloped the streets, only one house maintained resemblances of activity. He crept forth a bit to observe through the window on the first floor. One of his targets. The female. It looked as if she was handing out orders in some kind of panic, flailing her arms around and whining. Leaving out of sight, eight men passed by the window as well. One of them was the other target, the boyfriend. The rest looked like mercenaries. They had a leader, however, and, by appearances, he was the only one with military training. Ordering his men to their posts, he got into the kitchen and sat on a chair, leaning against the wall next to a back door. Many steps were heard in the stairs. After ten minutes, a single guard walked by. They took shifts guarding the residence.
Stargaze contemplated for a few seconds. The timing had to be perfect. Without a sound, he made his way down the roof and to the back door. Activating one half of his lightsaber lance, he carefully burned through the lock of the door. Sure, he could pick the lock, but that'd probably make more noise still. Slowly opening the door, he got inside, closing the door for the most part. Next to him, the leader had fallen asleep in the darkness. Leaning against the wall in his chair, the situation called for a steady hand. The guard would be here in a minute. Standing, Higu grabbed his head in the bend of his left arm and shoved his short sword in a 80 degree angle into the back of the rugged leader's head. The body went stiff, eyes opened in panic, for half a second, and then limp as a fish. No difference to the past, there. In his holster was a FC-1 flechette launcher. The other were all armed with DH-23 blaster pistols. Another sign this was the leader, apart from the arrogance.
Sneaking up against the wall by the door to the kitchen, Higu now listened for footsteps. Indeed the mercenary came to check up on his boss. They should be alone on the first floor now. How he enjoyed this. One step in. Two steps in. Three. Swiftly, Higu swept up behind him and put the blade to his throat. Slowly, he wheezed and struggled weakly as his life left him in streams of crimson, numbing any efforts to stop it. It was never quick this way. Thus, one could enjoy it. Dropping the slumped body to the ground, Higu thirsted for more.
He walked out into the relatively large hall and carefully up the stairs. A long corridor. He sneaked to the left end of it, where a lone door was. Slowly opening it, there were his two targets in a king-sized bed. First, he pictured a scenario where he would tie the woman to the chair next to the bed and make the man kill her himself or die if he refused, but he would rather make this quick. Some resistance would be amusing. Sighing, he brandished his beloved sword, gripped the blade with two hands and shoved it into the chest of the woman. Waking with gurgling and gasping drowned in lack of air there was nothing but pure panic. She didn't manage to make much sound at all before the world faded before her eyes. The man stirred and slowly opened his eyes, half-asleep. He sat up, eyes wandering, trying to see what was going on. Leaping over the woman, Higu thrust his blade into the throat of the man, pinning him against the wall. Holding him in place, he cut through to the side, leaving the head dangling and the body collapsing to the floor. So much blood.
His mission here accomplished, Stargazer felt a bit unsatisfied. He decided to enter the doors on the other side of the corridor. Fifteen minutes later, the house was empty, the walls spray-painted in a bright, fashionable red, and his lightsaber lance had gotten its first taste of the difference between life and death. This was a initiation, and it had passed it with flying intestines. Content with a hidden smile, Stargazer left the place to change into something less bloody and continue with the other half of the mission.
The girl's grand-parents lived two houses away, as luck would have it. As it was still completely pitch-black, it would be a good time to retrieve her right away. In the alleys, Stargazer focused with all his might. Around him, reality seemed to be in flux. The light bending and curving, the anomaly seemed to absorb him completely. Very exhausting, but he was running out of energy and had to act fast. He placed his mind in another place, ever only known to him, and removed his self from being. He would not be able to stay in oblivion for long, but it would be enough.
Through the unlocked front door, he searched the bedrooms of the old house. In the first small one, a small girl lay on a bed a bit too big for her. She seemed to sleep uneasily. Picking her up, Higu left the house to make his way to his fighter. Returning to present, his cloaking was deactivated as he carried the girl and lay her down in the seat behind him. When she woke as they made their way away from Nar Shaddaa, he calmed her and told her he would take her to her father. For some reason, she trusted him and fell asleep again in her drowsiness.
With an exhausted smile of his mission accomplished, he forwarded the message to Master Mobius and made his way back to return his daughter.
