No I mean it as in the fact that I just wanted to join a jovial little game and all of a sudden I'm at odds against the President who soon to be may very well be an opposing candidate I must face. Not rebels as in Sith, Darth Eternum (I believe this is your title?), but the mercenary-style rebels we have been combatting in the pages of this thread. No offense meant. EDIT: Also I was not aware we were trying to rule anything bigger than ourselves and a small corner of the Escapist. Am I missing something? |

I think it's what I'll call 'Soviet Syndrome', where the 'motherland' regards any attempts at independence by the smaller republics as rebellion. |

Pretty much so, yes. You attempted to secede from the awesomeness that is the Escapist, and thus tried to take away some of our awesome, and that CAN NOT STAND. As for rule of ourselves, I am a figurehead, with no power but that which I yield in a thread by bringing my fleet or Death Star into it. That is all. Uh-huh... and when have I ever said anything to conflict that? I know very well he has his share of substance in his posts and I have seen proof of this. As to how one is to "beat" anyone else in meaningful posts... I am confounded, as I thought it to be a most subjective trait. Opinions, I suppose. Heh. |

Did I miss an epic senario where most of out population was decimated? I was out in good 'ol mexico picking up some necissary chemicals(so hard to come by powerful acids these days). Anyways, I prepose that we move our nation underground(not literaly) as a resistance movement, I always wanted to be part of one. |
