Specifically, the fact that our two best units (Shooter and Stalker) cover only 3 types (Trickster & Tanker, Shooter & Trickster), our 3rd best unit is another Shooter and I'm forced to lug around the 4th best unit (Tanker) to cover two unit types (Stalker & Charger). I would preffer if the Mothership was changed to a Tanker or a Trickster. It would provide a better spread of counters... |

Except for the part where they're consistently foiled by one guy who doesn't even use weapons and has a tendency to pal around with young earth females. They wiped out the guy's entire planet and, at the most, cost him a regeneration. And even that's debatable. |

Paperboy Posts: 24 Joined: 19 Mar 2009 | Wow. Of all the Genre's Aliens seem to be the weakest link. The hardest challenge, the underdog. Seems very few like the odds stacked against them like this. Granted we're catching up on the Zombies, the board is still dominated by the favored ones, Robots, Ninja's and Pirates. Yes they all have solid armies to roll with. Much stronger than the Mother Ships and UFO's. Sure they're popular. Of course they... Oh well, keep charging Barry. Don't give up. Make em earn it. |

The thing is, it's so tedious at this point. It's hard to win 20 battles in one sit down. Also the best strategy is 50 Grey Commanders, 50 Motherships and another 50 Motherships vs. Rex. Attack the Zombie dinosaurs twice then attack the Zombie Master 3 times all with 50 motherships. If your first starting out, here's a decent tactic to get around 18,000 per battle,(which would take you about 20-23 battles to get enough bank to do use the tactic Barry suggests). So far Barry's is the best outcome I've seen for Aliens to get on the board. With 50 Insectoid Warriors, (other two slots at 0), go after Marvin, (Robots). Attack Battle Bots 3x then Scout Droids 2x. Best is tough, Aliens don't have a lot going for them but against the computer use your Tanks when starting out. They provide the best defense so you wont lose as much as they will. Here's a decent tactic to get around 18,000 per battle,(the idea being once you have at least 360,000 to 400,000 bank, switch to what Barry had mentioned above, it's the best outcome I've seen for Aliens to get on the board.) Regardless if the leader of the board is at 500,000,000 or 600,000,000, it can be taken again with time and patience of which I have plenty...but I won't do it. Barry has gotten tired of it and I understand his reasonings, but we can no longer carry the board. To say the least, every Alien out there can contribute to the overall wins and keep us ahead of the Zombies but there has to be at least 2 or 3 more Aliens out there willing to get on the board. But until we get at least 2 or 3 more Aliens on the board, I humbly refuse to put the Aliens on top of the board again. It won't be easy. Aliens lack the money making potential of Pirates. Do you have what it takes? |

Insomuch as the Genre Wars are concerned I was the first to hit the 5000 battles for our Alien Race, really not too interested in whether or not it gets awarded since the prereqs were met. But if you insist, Xenu was the first to have the award... the Alien. Victory still remains with the Aliens. |
