ACK ACK. Ack ack ack, ack ack. ACK; ACk ackack ack. (go Aliens!) And I'll never tell you my secrets! :)
Strategy? I just select randomly!
Use correct spelling to overthrow my enemies.
Match classes, whatever's most likely to hurt me the most goes first.
you mean building up lots o guys and putting the beat down (Kuliani is attacking me currently)
I keep the list of types of soldiers and who their strong against in another tab while I play.
It's like playing an RTS. That's how I see it.
How could u make a strategy?? just match the classes :P
Build weak units Order them to attack vastly more numerous and stronger units in hopeless suicide attack ???????????????????? Profit!
Kill fast, kill often...
I hate starting the game way later than everyone else.
Always keep a reserve of Also, Sexy Pirate Wenches for the win.
Assuming every unit of both armies has strengths and weaknesses and numbers are about equal, I look at it as rock, paper, scissors, and try to destroy an enemy before they get to attack.
Massive hordes of inept units > moderate sized forces of decent units > a few great units in my experience thus far. Zombies seem to have pretty bad synergy near the top to boot.
I use an aggressive ziggurat strategy.
I match the classes, but I'm also careful about the way I order my attack as well. The first attack will generally be against the most expensive unit and then working my way down. On the other hand, if I have a particularly valuable unit (like one with an epic stat) then I may check my opponent's ranks for a unit which is well suited to take mine out, and target that first to limit the damage it can do later.
Surrender at EVERY opportunity it's the only way.
lol Mine or on a stikie note. To many tabs slows my internet down. but ya I just use basic strategy and some luck.
Prey on the weak. Seems to work for a lot of people. What doesn't work is refusing to ever retreat. I've gone through about a dozen armies so far because of this.
This. It's basically a fancy rock, paper, scissors. only with fire and water thrown in...
Same here, lol | |
I feel your pain, dude. At least you're not on the vessel. I could have started before everyone, and still have done less. Even though I would be trying all the time
Kill bots. Many, many kill bots. Also, a tab with the table of what's strong against what helps. Beep Boop 101010
I just try to remember them, though I guess I should write them down.
This is very important.
I won't ever enter a battle I can't win. Strategic use of the 'retreat' button ensures my army's safety and prosperity.
That. | |
Make sure your three armies are about even so you'll be less likely to lose from one of them being eliminated. And then team up all your armies on thier weakest army to win by default, earning less money than them and suffering more casualties, but at least winning. Several battles now I've lost due to this tactic, even though I earned more cash even after thier 'decisive victory' bonus. :P
The reason for this is units can only kill on a 1:1 ratio per round. So your 5 epic troop unit would never be able to take out a division with more then 25 units in one battle. I only upgrade once I can support around 30 in each division.
It shouldn't, if the tab isn't actively doing anything. Which browser do you run?
Meh. Do what you've gotta do. I've eaten a few pieces of cheese already myself.
Buy Chuck Norris. Then buy another, and another. THEN ZERG THE ENEMY TO OBLIVION! MWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH! Aliens!
I do the same. What's the point of entering a battle you can not win.
Curl up into a little ball and cry.
Me three. I've accepted a couple challenges in which the enemy had a few thousand more bucks in his armor than I did, but never the massive differences. I just got challenged a second ago but a guy with over 140k dollars, and I only have 24k. I've also declined people in the 40k range.

With the genre wars being a popular feature on the Escapist right now, I figured I would ask you guys what strategies you tend to use in it.
