I played like, once when it came out.

I think I was a zombie...person.

I stopped playing it long ago. I was Aliens but sucked at playing.

I agree with HUBILUB, pirate seems the safest and more balanced way to go.

i like plying as zombie. they've worked well for me.

Tried to with Aliens. I failed miserably due to not grasping that "NUMBERS MEAN ALMOST EVERYTHING". Meh, it was alright. From the looks of the standings though, it looks like robots are the best (or most popular).

While I played genre wars, I actually found it was useless to pick the high tier troops, because they cost so much - and the winner is calculated based on inflicted cost on the opponent. Point of reference - you have to kill 24 grey scientists to have destroyed a greater worth than if you killed 1 mothership. Naturally, picking first-tier troops will allow your opponent to devastate your individual groups giving them the victory even though you destroyed a greater value of troops - which is why you should go for middle tier troops. Not valuable enough to be a hassle to lose, and still strong enough to withstand repeated attacks from higher tier troops.

Anyway, I have almost consistently lost every time I have tried the top tier troops, while I have almost consistently won every time I have picked middle tier troops - even when fighting armies way above my level.

aliens all the way, but i don't really play anymore.

Well I only ever played as ninja and I did ok... for all 5 battles.

I dont think the game is very good but I picked pirates

ninjas are not cool at all. No charisma; that's why I'll always play as a zombie and or a robot :P

Pirates are the best group. Pirates don't play by the rules.

I'm pretty sure that I am a zombie, but I think that robots are the best group.
