Maybe if they added more genres and maybe a little animation at the start of an EPIC BATTLE. Yeah, I would buy that.
Weeell.. Maybe, but probably not :(
Maybe, but it would really depend on what was added and how much I would have to pay.
I'd have to see it in action first, after all I don't actually play it right now.
If it were a downloadable game, I'd buy it just to support Escapist.
I don't see myself paying for it. It's decent for an online thing but not for a payed game imo
never in a million years would i pay for it
No I don't think so, unless there was a lot more strategy and complexity so I can properly puzzle my way through a battle. Looking at weakness/strength ratios with number of units and the costs is a little too boring for me to consider playing it intensively even for free.
Nah, I'd definitely have to see it first. Then read up on people's thoughts. After that, maybe if it was cheap enough.
Personally, I like playing online. What I might pay for, though, was one that ran without all the bugs I seem to find on mine.... But I think that might have something to do with my proxy settings.
I probably wouldn't pay for it. Maybe. I like the concept.
Honestly not sure how well it would work, but hell people have made games and card games with less. I say go all out.
As long as it's cheap enough, I'm already playing for Pub Club.
I wouldn't pay for it. Mostly because I haven't played it a lot, but also because it's not my type of game. Simple as that.
I wouldnt buy it, they need to improve it first. But I wont go into detail.
Now, say The Escapist was to develop Genre Wars into a full-blown, downloadable title with all the production value of something like a Peggle - would you buy it?
I would.
Add a little depth, some animations, maybe a puzzle and story mode with unlockables for the website and BOOM - fun, addictive game.
Give subscribers early access to betas. Really promote it as a full, stand-alone game on the site. I think they'd have something.
