Trump feeds fish incorrectly, prompts outrage.

The CNN article says that Abe dumped his box first, but "Trump does stupid thing" gets the clicks, so going with that angle is the profitable thing to do. You do you, media.

I think my favorite part is the Jezebel article calling him a giant baby with no attention span all the way through. Glass houses and all that.

Yep. Forget everything else he has done and will do if unchecked. THIS is the crime we must punish him for. *facepalm*

Aiming the above at the media, not the OP.

They heard it from Jon Stewart. It's completely justified. He IS a big dumb man-baby.

for once it wasn't Trumps fault. he only did what the other guy was doing.

Don't forget the headlines made about him liking two scoops of ice cream. What a villain!

Yeah that story sucks and doesn't actually help any opponent of Trump as it is less a display of Trump being an idiot and more of an intense media bias against him. They played right into his hand.

Meanwhile DJT said this about Japan's economy: "I don't know if it's as good as ours, I think not. Ok? And we're going to try and keep it that way, but you'll be second."

Now that's something really stupid to say.

I'll grant you that he comes across as ignorant when as POTUS he shouldn't be on this topic... But the goal he states there is in line with his America First ideology.

It may be in line with his USA first ideology but it's something any leader knows is inappropriate to say in a press conference when visiting the country in question. You don't say to a foreign leader: "Our economy is better than yours. Ok?" unless you have a bad relation with said country. It's yet another example of him being a total idiot on the matter of diplomacy and foreign relations.

I mean, like, you're still going out of your way to perpetuate this instead of focusing on more pressing matters. That's at least the third thread to pop up like this in two days, you're doing exactly what you denounce these people for doing while not doing exactly what you're denouncing these people for not doing, even though I garuntee they at least put out something meanwhile that would be considered less trivial.
Is there something we need to be distracted from?

Xsjadoblayde:
Is there something we need to be distracted from?

Aside from the Mueller investigation tightening the noose? Well, there's the fact that Trump said he was baffled that a nation of "samurai warriors" didn't just shoot down the N. Korean missiles. And that he told the Japanese dignitaries he had no idea there were so many countries in the world. And that he told Japan to manufacture their cars in the US, oblivious to the fact that they already do. In general, yeah, there's a lot that the people who voted for this doorknob would really rather we not talk about.

My money has always been on a foreign country eventually declaring war on USA because Trump offended them. Trump has the diplomacy of an electric sander, and history has shown that wars can be provoked by even more absurd reasons than being insensitive or just rude. These news make me roll my eyes and keep my bet on place.

Reminds me of when Hannity mocked Obama for his choice of mustard

So, you are admitting that Liberals are just as bad as Conservatives when they were criticizing President Obama. It's nice we are finally agreeing about politics.

Yes, it's the guys cunning plan to save Donald Trump by distracting the denizens of the Escapist.

And he would have gotten away with it too, if it weren't for you meddling kids.

Helpful, insightful and poignant as ever.

Thankyou. And in so few words, too.

I think next time I'll try and arrange it in a haiku...

Trump trashes huge amounts of environmental protections, healthcare access, labour regulations, welfare, building code requirements etc. that are likely to be harmful to ordinary Americans, especially to the poorest.

Yeah, not only is he not getting impeached for that, it's barely even reported.

Well for one, its not a liberal complaining about this.

I never heard of it until the OP dragged this out as if it somehow null and voids all the actual bad Trump has done, is doing, and will do.

I mean, Obama's silly criticisms were that he was polite and had a middle name.

Ehh. Whole lot of nothing. I'm all for criticizing 45 but let's do it for legitimate fuck ups. God knows there is a never-ending list of them.

I'm pretty sure I posted it because I found the media reaction funny/overblown and wanted to see what the most needlessly argumentative website I visit would do.

The press lied about something related to Trump? I'm shocked. Really. Imagine my shock.

So I'll admit that I'm not really knowledgeable about Asian cuisine, but does soy sauce really improve all that much with age?

No idea, if I'm being honest. It's probably just a traditional thing that they do with heads of state that come to visit. Soy sauce as a side is common-ish in Korean cuisine but less so than gochujang which is spicy red pepper paste and ssamjang which is a sort of mix of gochujang, doenjang (fermented soybean paste, comparable to miso), garlic, green onions and some other stuff. Both are pretty tasty and if you've ever eaten Korean BBQ, chances are you've had ssamjang before. It's really good and not that spicy.

This meal looks like the kind of fare you'd find in a high end, traditional Korean restaurant. Specially prepared galbi, naengmyeon, fried tofu and some japchae as well as a number of kinds of rice. I can't imagine it would be too appealing to Captain Ketchup on Steak, though. Apparently when he met with Abe, he ordered a frigging hamburger. Couldn't even try a chashu ramen or something? C'mon man, Japanese food is great.

Hey, I'm willing to jail him for being a food criminal. Well done steaks with ketchup, sending a runner to McDonalds because White House chefs couldn't get the quarter pounder with cheese (no pickle, extra ketchup) recipe right.

The dude's just not right. It's like he's the other alien race that's in conflict with whatever galactic A.I. that's powering Zuckerburg.

What do you mean "people are taking this seriously"?

Was that Jezebel article written by a kindergardener?
I guess Trump isn't too popular with the 3-6 year old demographic.

CM156:
So I'll admit that I'm not really knowledgeable about Asian cuisine, but does soy sauce really improve all that much with age?

Well, it's fermented, so the age affects the level of fermentation which has occurred. It's one of the reasons why dark soy sauce has a stronger taste.

However, soy sauce is not alcoholic enough to preserve itself, so I wouldn't advise leaving it in the cupboard for a few years.

Does it not have an insanely high salt content though?

I find soy sauce has a magical ability to end up on the bottom of the bottle and leave rings everywhere. No other condiment in my household has this problem. Also, a little soy goes a long way. And a lot of places.

Its that weird spout/cap that they use that causes the problem. Ya never get a clean pour with it.

Also could be the low sodium version of soy sauce (So much better and won't kill you) so the salt content may not be that high.
